This unit does very well at solving issues for me of using one aerial to feed 2/3 televisions. The quality feel of the unit is good and it was very easy to install (plug and play). My Televisions now have full signal and quality. Do make sure your aerial is good and correctly aligned and check all the connections that they are good and no shorted wires before powering up the amp. Should some short circuit exist then a red warning light on the unit will light so that you can take action on that connection. I have found that some new smart televisions have aerial inputs that can cause a red short circuit light to appear on the unit. I am no electrical expert so I asked for advice and was told to change my wall plate (the tv aerial socket on the wall) to an isolating version and this has cleared the red light warning and all works very well. I have heard of some buyers of this unit to dislike the power on lights of this unit saying they are too bright. Well my amplifier is in the loft and I find it useful to have the glow in my roof space. All round nice bit of kit that hopefully lasts for years as it does the job perfectly for me. I am very happy and recommend this unit.

Does what it says but the FM radio too complicated to amplify with TV at the same time
This item works very well for the TV signal but unfortunatly needs two inputs one for TV and one for Radio FM - which is strange as all outputs are for both. As my signals are combined and amplified in my loft I had to try and split to feed into the amp. Didn't work so gave up amplifying the Radio FM and just broke the signal out before input to this amp. Other than that this item is very good at what it does and I would buy again if needed just for TV or if you have separate cables for TV and Radio FM.

Does the job
I bought this to replace my existing amplifier which is over 15 years old so I had hoped that I would notice an improvement in reception with a new unit. This one seems to work fine but not noticeably better than the old one. It does the job so no complaints.

Independance from satelite & cable provision
reinstated 3xterrestrial tv sockets (after dumping cable tv, too expensive) from one digital aerial. Aerial to the units input socket, three outputs to each of the original wall sockets (front & back of house) unit mounted in loft and connected to mains socket. excellent picture quality on TV's inall three rooms. good bit of kit. Recommended ! Delivered quickly.

... low signal strength I expected to have a slightly better quality to the channels
After buying this booster to help with low signal strength I expected to have a slightly better quality to the channels. The actual finishing result however was that I actually lost channels and strength while having this booster plugged into the tv. Not very happy with the product.

Two Stars
Not very good, a cheaper version did the job better. Waste of money for me.

Caution -Sky output might need retuning!
I bought this to replace an earlier item taken out by a nearby lightning strike. I thought it would be a simple straight swop but it isn't. If connecting this to a sky box you need to change the output RF frequency from channel 68 to one lower down (I think it is less than 50). I changed mine to 40. This is easy to do - there are instructions on the internet if you need them. You then need to retune the analogue input on your TVs to this output. I sent the first unit back thinking it was faulty, and when the replacement arrived and didn't work either I rang the Philex technical support who very quickly told me this. Unfortunately it wasn't in the instructions supplied! Apparently it's all to do with the higher frequencies being sold off for 4G, so I guess the new unit filters out those frequencies.

Simple and effective solution to our old aerial / poor signal problems without climbing a ladder
So now the TV on the long run cable-run into the kitchen works, and my one aerial can support all the other set-top boxes / TV's connected to it - without me having to shin-up a ladder and visit the hospital. OK so if we had no signal this would not fix that, but we had too many items on one antenna, we live in a slight valley and there's one long cable run around the outside of the house to the kitchen. I'm sure I should have spent some big money on a new digital aerial and a new mast, replaced all the cable with latest R6 spec, and probably fit a second aerial to solve the kitchen TV problem. This would have been the right thing to do and would have cost me hundreds. The new digital TV aerial would probably have been amplified as many of the recent models are, so I just cut to the chase, fitted this excellent little amplifier, which made all my other problems go-away without all the hassle. Next step is to fit one at the father-in-laws who has similar problems.
