As with all Ooni profucts - this is a high quality accessory with top notch functionality and aesthetics. I used frequently for about 6 months now - so far so good - battery drainnis minimal and ergonomics are comfortable in the hand. Temperature assessment seems very accurate.

Purchased this for my new Oooni Pizza oven which had no thermostate, It works great, just point at the stone and the temperature is shown

This thing is perfect it. It is awesome when used on the oomi pizza oven but could be used On anything where you are wanting an accurate reading. It gives the temp in the oven not the temp of a piece of meat etc. It works brilliantly.

I use this to measure the temperature in my outdoor pizza oven. Because the temperature is different at various spots in the oven, it is important to know where the hot and cooler spots are. This gives instant readings wherever you aim it. I am sure I will find other uses for it, but for now, it is worth the investment even if all I ever use it for is making pizzas

I bought this gun to go along with my Ooni pizza oven. I like getting my pizza stone up to 725 degrees and then turning off the oven and letting the pizza cook for 6 minutes on the hot stone. If you have an ooni you know there is no numbers on the temp gauge. Having this to give you a read on the stone is a must have. It works and looks great!

I've owned my Ooni Karu 16 for a few years now and initially I avoided paying the premium price for the Ooni branded infrared thermometer because there are so many cheaper alternatives available. However I came to use the cheaper thermometer I purchased a couple of years ago and found it had died. I replaced the batteries but it was dead dead. A bit rubbish given that it has been dry stored since new and had very little use. So I took to Amazon to look for a replacement. After a while of looking at all the many versions of the same thing I decided I would look at the Ooni official one again...and found that there was a discount offer available so I decided to spend the £20 extra and ordered one. First impressions are that the build quality appears to be much better than the previous, cheaper, model. It feels nice and solid in the hand and the rubberized finish is very pleasing. I like the fact that this thermometer has a proper on/off function. It;s really easy to operate: Switch it on, press the trigger, read the display. The temp range display is a nice touch as it feels more accurate than a single point reading. We shall see how long it lasts....

Thermometer has good handle grip and an easy to read screen. Black colour coordinates with the black BBQ and pizza oven and everything looks neat.
