Breakthrough Clean Technologies Suppressor Cleaner

This stuff is the real deal. I've tried a variety of solutions on my rifle cans, both in and out of the ultrasonic cleaner, but far and away, this has been the most dramatically effective. I have one 5.56 can that I haven't cleaned in two years and probably three thousand rounds plus, and a heavy solution of Simple Green in a heated ultrasonic wouldn't touch the carbon buildup. A 30 minute 60c heated cycle in the ultrasonic with Breakthrough had it down to the bare stainless inside the can. Shiny, spotless blast chamber. I did another can just left sitting in a jar for a few days and it came out just as clean. If you baby your cans and the finish really matters to you, this may not be the one. It ate through part of the cerakote in the can I left it soaking in for a few days, and it started to eat through the Norrell's Moly Resin on my other can that I did the heated cycles with. That said, I treat mine like the wear items they are and it doesn't bother me, but buyer beware. Yes, a slightly less aggressive and more cautious approach to how long and how intensely you use it may yield less abrasive results, but have Krylon, will travel.

Dude an excellent job cleaning my suppressor. Placed suppressor in a plastic water bottle-like container, filled the bottle with the Breakthrough solution. Let it sit for about 24 hours. Extracted the suppressor, disassembled and scrubbed the baffles and suppressor tube with nylon bristle brush. Baffles and the inside of the suppressor housing were pristine! The were no foul odors. This was the easiest suppressor cleaning I have ever done. Great product!

If I could give a product 10 stars I would. I know this product is expensive but it’s worth every stinking penny. I had caked on lead in my can that I could not get off with other solvents and at least 10 cleanings with with a heated ultrasonic cleaning machine. As a last resort I bought this stuff put it in a plastic bag and soaked the parts for about 2 hours and I could see the powder falling off. Then I left it in the bag and tossed it into the Ultrasonic cleaner and it’s working phenomenal. Don’t hesitate to buy this product, it’s worth every penny. By the way my can is a dead air mask hd.

it works i used it on cascade 22 lr aluminum silencer only didn't give 5 stars cause i can still see a small hunk of stubborn lead inside and i haven't shot through it yet.

This is by far the best surpressor cleaner. I put my surpressors in a zip lock bag and fill with Breakthrough, then put distilled water in my ultrasonic cleaner and run it for a couple hours. Makes a normally tedious task a breeze. The zip lock bag method will help stretch the Breakthrough and you can reuse it 3-4 times. This is the only surpressor cleaner I use now.

I have used Breakthrough suppressor cleaner on aluminum and titanium baffles without issue. I do have to let them sit overnight to avoid excessive scrubbing. There isn’t any smell and while I do use gloves it appears to not be toxic to your skin. When I first started using Breakthrough I would only use it once. But now I use it multiple times before discarding. My only complaint is the price. In my opinion it is over priced. Perhaps as suppressors become more popular there will be less expensive options that work as well.
