What will remove the stuff if too much gets applied, or it makes things worse?

If you applied too much let it dry and buff off as it will come off. The formula cannot make your disc worse. If you have very deep scratches they will fill in but you must let it dry and buff out.

It did with ours. My grandson is rough on his and it works. Just have to try it.

Does rhis work for xbox 360 games?

Fills in Light and Medium Scratches for all Disc formats to make the Disc readable including Game Discs. Apply multiple applications if necessary to restore play back. Deep scratches are usually unrepariable as the laser bleeds through the Disc and makes it unreadable.

What type of buffing cloth comes with it? Microfiber or more of an actual buffer type cloth?

I do not recall any cloth included. I use a microfiber cloth. Do not expect miracles with this product.
