Great Replacement for Conventional Bulbs
These LED bulbs are a great replacement for conventional incandescent flood lamp bulbs. We've had these bulbs for about a month and a half and they have been reliable. These bulbs dim on a conventional dimmer switch. Being LED bulbs, I'm assuming there are multiple discrete LEDs inside that turn on or off, based on how they work with the dimmer switch. LEDs themselves are either on or off. That said, the bulbs change light output very smoothly as you dim or brighten them. The bulbs seem a bit brighter than conventional bulbs, which is fine. The color is cool like a normal incandescent bulb. The price is very good, around the cost of incandescents. Why did I go with these? The last incandescents I purchased were garbage and were failing quickly. We replaced two of four light fixtures in our kitchen, and the bulbs continued to fail. I bought these to see if I could salvage our fixtures. These have worked flawlessly, leading me to believe the conventional bulbs I had were garbage. These LED bulbs are stable. They work. They provide good light in our kitchen. They are reliable. They're at a good price. They are dimmable. I would buy them again. I would recommend them.

Great for can lights
We needed to replace several old "can lights" and wanted three things: 1. LED 2. Dimmable 3. Reasonable price We got all three with these nice bulbs. They fit nicely into our can lights, lit up the room brightly, & dimmed down beautifully. They seem like a great product for a reasonable price. We like the soft-white look and the fact that they are energy efficient LED. They should last a long time, too. Very pleased!

Decent bulbs, but not quite as bright as expected
These Sigalux BR30 LED flood lights are a solid, budget-friendly option for recessed lighting. The soft white (2700K) color temperature gives off a warm and cozy glow, which works well in living rooms or bedrooms if you're going for ambiance over brightness. Installation was simple, they fit right into my existing fixtures with no issues. The dimming functionality works smoothly with my compatible dimmer switch, and I havenโt noticed any flickering or humming. That said, they arenโt quite as bright as I had hoped. At 650 lumens, theyโre more on the mellow side. If you're looking for bulbs to really light up a space like a kitchen or workspace, you may want something with a higher lumen output. Overall, theyโre a good value and work well for more relaxed, ambient lighting but not the best pick if brightness is your top priority.

They don't last. Three of six have failed in 18 months. Is SIGALUX still in business?
Terrible bulbs. They don't last. Two of my 6, after only having been used 18 months started flickering and then completely failed. The support phone number on the box now goes to a law firm, and asking my browser to go to sigalux.com times out. Have they closed their doors because the product is failing everywhere?

Estimated Life of Bulbs
I purchased the 6-pack of 65W equivalent bulbs for the recessed lighting in my kitchen because I was looking for better quality/value over Walmart's Great Value LEDs I had been using for several years. The packaging indicated an estimated life of 9 years based on 3 hours of daily use but I found mine needed replacing every 6 - 8 months. I admittedly use these lights about 8 hours/day but should have still gotten about 3 years out of them. I searched on Amazon and came across these Sigalux bulbs. They were definitely priced better and the rating/reviews were good so I ordered them. One of the lights died after a month so I chalked it up to being a dud. This morning, two more of my lights went out. I always write the date I install the bulbs so I can see how long they last; the two lights I replaced today were installed on 11/3/24 - so they lasted just over two months. Again, I use my lights for longer than 3 hours/day but the lights died a lot sooner than reasonably expected. The estimated life on the package states 13.7 years at 3 hours/day which is approximately 9,200 hours. Even if I had been running my lights 24 hours/day since 11/3, that's only about 1,500 hours of total use - only 25% of the stated life expectancy. The quality of the bulbs is great (durability, brightness, energy usage) and the price is a great value - but I'm disappointed with how long they lasted. I'm not here to trash the product because I may have received a box of duds - just a heads-up that these may not last as long as your expecting. If there are any power users that run your lights longer than 6 hours/day, you'll notice the shortfall first. For those that only use their lights 3 hours/day, I suspect you'll see yours go out in about 4 years vs the advertised 13.7 years. Thanks!
