Laboratory Perfumes Gorse Eau de Toilette 100ml

It’s pricey but a gorgeous scent. I live in Scotland and look forward to the gorse bushes blooming every summer. It’s initially quite lemony but as it settles, the sweet fragrance blends in beautifully.If you find yourself stopping to appreciate the gorse then this is it in bottle form and you won’t regret buying it.

I was looking for an affordable alternative to creeds "Virgin island water" one of my favourite Creeds , and this come to my attention as a possible solution, however I was surprised to discover that this is virtually identical. It opens with a burst of lime and a hint of lemon quickly followed by coconut and instantly transports me to a beach like on the old bounty adverts .Not only that, it has better projection sillage and longevity WOW. This would be perfect for hot weather days, holidays on the beach, barbecues and informal sunshine get togethers. Cannot recommend highly enough! Will definitely be purchasing again in the future 🏖🏝😎😍

This fragrance opens with a burst of fresh citrus, predominantly lemon. Then the coconut smell of gorse takes centre stage, (not overly sweet and suntan-lotion coconut!) And that is how it remains; it doesn't change much over time. Lasts about 6-8 hours on my skin before fading. It's pretty much unisex I would say. Like it a lot. In the same ballpark as Creeds Virgin Island Water.

Smell is excellent one of favourites it's more like a suntan lotion smell . Description before very accurate . Initial burst of citrus then pleasing coconut vibe . Lasts about 2-4 hrs on my body . Would imagine great holiday fragrance for warm weather .

Very nice scent, sort of citrus blended into coconut. Almost indistinguishable from Creed's Virgin Island Water, but a little less sugary. Overall I like this one better and it lasts longer.

Spring and Summer in a bottle, long lasting for the type of scent (around 6 hours) reasonably priced

Smells good, but the price pushes it down to 3 stars possibly 2 stars.For £90 for a pretty unknown brand and for EDT strength fragrance is pretty cheeky to be honest. They're charging more than a same size and strength Armani fragrance which this is definitely no Armani. If your after a good coconut fragrance I would recommend this, but not the EDT version. But once again price makes it un reccomendable. For slightly less you could get yourself Jean Paul Gautier Le Beu, which is also a coconut themed fragrance that smells better and lasts longer than this. Personally I would say avoid unless you have more money than sense. If the price drops down to around £40 then yes I would give this 5 stars.

It smells a bit more of coconut than I had expected, hence dropping from five to four stars.

I’m a fragrance collector and I heard so much about Gorse so I decided to pull the plug and I love it,long lasting and projects like a beast!!!So glad to have it in my collection!!!

I've become obsessed with this house and have now purchased all five of their fragrances. They're affordable, well made (if somewhat similar), and easy to wear. I find them to last for several hours, all day even and I spray them liberally on my body and clothes. I even wear them to bed and can smell them the next day. The GORSE is more coconut as other reviews say, and I was hoping for the honey-scent of gorse but it's still a very nice scent.
