You can buy hard cases, but most come as a package, Once used they need to be disposed of in the proper way.

Small diesel or paraffin fires, maybe. Petrol? Don't even think about it! This item is not designed to smother anything but a small, localised fire. A cooking hob fire should be managable but anything involving fuels, no.

You might think about instead getting a fire extinguisher and/or a buckets of sand/water nearby. Your local fire department are always happy to give advice.
