So, I bought this replacement shock mount for my X1 shotgun because the 1/4 male adapter got stuck and I couldn’t remove it. This shotgun is built better and feels more metallic than plastic. It’s a decent price for a shotgun mount, although I wish it could be slightly cheaper. It’s not heavy at all and feels the same as the X1 shotgun mic. This mount looks much better than the shock mount that came with the X1. It fits my small rig perfectly, although I wish the screws would be straight instead of slightly turning. The 1/4 adapter fault is not the mount itself. All in all, this is a perfect mount, but it’s a little too big for the X1. However, it fits its wobble since it doesn’t fit but loops only one loop. Hold it but it’s shorter microphone.

I wanted a simple shotgun shockmount for my field audio recorder, and the Microphone Shockmount exceeded my expectations. I like the compact design, sturdy grip of my microphones, and noise isolation. Because of the quarter-inch shoe adaptor, I have several mounting options, depending on my use. I recommend this product without hesitation.

Easy to slide in my Sennheiser boom mic. Would’ve been nice if the thread fit my boom pole (Rode Boom Pro). I had to buy an adapter for it.. but overall a clean look, and functions well (quietly).

The only suggestion I would make is to include an adapter for a mic stand

It's a surprisingly effective price of it to mount a shotgun mic on for hand held sound capture. It has a1/4-20 mounting thread on the bottom to let you connect to boom poles, sticks etc. just remember to get foam handles with a1/4-20 if you wanna use it like a pistol grip handle. It's shock absorbance is pretty good and it holds mics with a bit of assurance. A good buy. Good job movo.
