Inexpensive and does the job well
Not much to say about this office accessory. It is inexpensive, well-made and does what I need it to do. If I knock it onto the floor as I did a couple weeks ago, it doesn't break and the paper clips don't go spilling all over the place. The clips don't get tangled and it's easy to see when you need to refill it.

If it ain't broke
Just like the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This standard paperclip holder is the best one I've used because it's easy to get clips out and it keeps them in, even if it topples over or falls. I looked at newer designs but I always see some problem and the last thing I want to do is pick up paper clips. So I stand by this standard design and it's cheap, too!

Does its intended job well, but not perfect
This does exactly what it is built to do, hold and dispense paper clips. Holds a decent amount of clips and i'm sure it will hold up for a long time considering its function. Comparing this to one I bought from Staples a few years back, it is much smaller. If you need a holder to hold lots of paper clips I would recommend getting the one from Staples. If you don't need tons of paper clips around, this is perfect size to keep more space on your desk. UPDATE: After using this for a few months, I have deducted a star and I would suggest the Staples one over this one. Every time I grab this item the top comes off so easily and I had to put some tape on the inner edge to keep the top from easily falling off. My Staples one has a better fitting top and doesn't have this issue. For the prices it isn't a bad item, just that the Staples one is superior.

Great for bobby pins.
This is a perfect little magnetic container. Instead of using this for paper clips like most people, I use this to hold all of my bobby pins, which can get lost so very easily. It's exactly what I was looking for. And at a great price! I would recommend this to a friend.

Endangered technology?
I've seen these in many offices and frequently thought to myself, "Some day, when I sell the farm... " So now I've finally got my very own paper clip dispenser, but I'm not sure how it's supposed to be used. I would gather that you shake it until a clip or two attaches itself to the magnetized opening, offering itself to the user's eager fingers. The problem with the dispenser, however, appears to be either the size of my clips (I'll admit they're pretty large) or the inadequate power of the magnet. Still the price was unbeatable (and postage-free!), the dispenser looks cool and has a tiny footprint, and with the ever-increasing disappearance of paper and paper-products in our digital desk doings, it's likely to become a nostalgic conversation piece in just a couple of years. And practically speaking, not only does it work better on my desk than an open cardboard box but the top half pops loose with no problem--probably a more efficient way of accessing your clips than waiting upon some mysterious magnetic force to get the job done.

It holds small things!
Not much to say about these. While they work great as a paper clip holder/dispenser, I actually bought it as a place to keep my bobby pins organized and in one place, which helps my husband maintain his sanity. Magnet works well, price is right, can't complain!

Good product.
It fits together well, the magnets hold the paperclips if all sizes easily, it doesn't take up a lot of room. Not the most exciting thing on my desk, but then it's a paperclip holder, I wouldn't want it to be. :) I'd buy it again if I needed another one.

It works
It works. It does not fall apart. The magnet stays in place. The top does not fly off when you give it a shake to bring more clips up. What else is there to say?

An Essential Office Desk Item
A really great little item for easy access to paperclips, and when it knocks over, it doesn't make a mess! It's lightweight, and easy to add more paperclips to. The magnetic top holds a few, as the photo shows.
