Pretty and practical

Mum loves this cup
I bought this coffee cup for my mother who really likes it. It's a nice size - not too big nor too small and the flower pattern is lovely. It is quite thick, so not as elegant as one might expect, but that's what makes it good for every day use. I might purchase another one.

Really lovely mug
This mug is made from china and it holds about 450 mls of liquid so you get a decent drink of tea or coffee. The pattern is lovely and the shape is not round but oval,it is supposed to be like this I was told and it doesn't affect how you drink from it. I can recommend it highly.

Wonderful mugs but has caveat
Mariefleur BasicCollection Latte Macchiato Mug is a high quality mug. It's oval not round which is rather nice as I can hold by handle or around mug. However, Villeroy & Boch need to coordinate their capacity measurements. This mug is stated as being 480L which is about 16 oz but it is actually 14 oz. I got one hoping I could adapt to the bigger size but as it turned out it is exactly what I wanted. I liked this mug with pink flowers so much I got another the same even though I usually like my mugs to be different designs. Then I got a New Cottage mug even though it is plain white. This mug is stated as being 12.5 oz which is wrong as it is actually 14 oz. I also have one of their French designed mugs. Love them all.

Beautiful but Oval Shaped Opening
Beautiful set. I was taken aback by the ovalness of the cup, looks like a round that got squashed. Had to go to reviews to see if this was right. It is! Have yet to try it, hope it isn't awkward to drink out of.
