Chenyang PCI-E Riser Card Adapter - PCIE Express 8X to 16x Male to Female

Bought a Chinese special mobo+cpu+ram combo, totally overlooked that it only had 1 pcie 16x and a 1x... Used this adapter for a low end video card for the headless OS install. Worked perfectly, and is super cheap compared to competitors.

I needed to power an HP SAS Expander card, and this worked perfectly.

Don't buy this. It's just crap, it's better cable, it helps you more. This 👎 doesn't work well.

Worked great with the graphics card I was using in my small form factor PC.

Not a big deal but I’d advise using an external one with an adapter with a cable over this. Maybe one screwed into a plate or something as well. Hard to get it straight in a small form factor pc especially since it doesn’t snap in like the PCIe x16.

Ich habe den Adapter für einen ganz bestimmten Zweck gekauft: Um eine NVIDIA-Grafikkarte in meinem Synology NAS zu betreiben. Der Adapter überbrückt den Slot-Unterschied (8x auf 16x) einwandfrei. Die Karte wurde erkannt und läuft seitdem absolut stabil und ohne Probleme. Wer sein NAS aufrüsten möchte, greift hier zum richtigen Teil.
