Easy to eat food for dogs chewing difficulties
This is a small sample size, which is what I wanted -- so that I could try it out with my very picky senior chihuahua... she ate it up at first, but today she's refusing it.. tomorrow she may like it.. honestly I feel like it might be impossible to give an honest review with regard to "does your dog like it?" -- but the pieces are small and easy for her to eat, the texture is airy and light... as described by the seller. I think for those of you with senior or non senior dogs who have difficulty chewing and aren't super picky, this is probably a winner! I also think a great use for it would be as a topper to wet dog food etc... or even just as treats? I am giving it 4 stars because it's a quality product, however a little on the expensive side.

My picky dog loves it โ and digestion improved
My dog is very picky, so Iโm always cautious trying new food, but he absolutely loves this. He eats it without hesitation, which is rare for him. I also noticed a big improvement in digestion โ his stools are much more solid and consistent, which is always a good sign. The limited-ingredient, high-protein formula seems to agree with his stomach really well. I like that itโs air-dried, made in the USA, and uses real chicken. It feels like a high-quality option, and Iโm comfortable feeding it regularly. If you have a picky eater or a dog with a sensitive stomach, this has been a great find.

Dry and crumbly
My picky eater did eat this food some but I thought he was going to choke to death trying to get it down. The food is very dry and about a fifth of the bag was crumbs where the food was crushed. Make sure to offer plenty of water when your dogs eats this. My non picky eater would touch it so the dogs had mixed reviews. I'm not sure the food is worth the cost with it being so dry and crumbly. And it was crumbled all thru the bag not just at the bottom. I do like the ingredients being all meat, organs and healthy vitamins but I don't believe that out weighs the texture of the food. I probably won't buy again.

Finally.....a Food That She Loves
I've had my rescue for two years and I've spent thousands of dollars trying to find foods that she can eat that don't cause her pancreatitis to flair up. When I say that I have bought every high end air dry food on the market, I am not kidding. Some of these foods can cost upwards of $600/month, but I was willing to do anything to get my dog better. I bought this food on a whim because she had once again stopped eating another food that I was ordering online from a very expensive company. I put it in her bowl and walked away knowing that she most likely wouldn't eat it and I would have to give her the "back up" cooked chicken that I always keep in the fridge. I came back a few minutes later and it was gone. For a minute, I actually thought I had forgotten to put the food in her bowl. I was ecstatic but skeptical and figured she was just finally hungry enough that she ate it. The next morning, the exact same thing happened. I put a bit more in her bowl because she was sitting there looking at me like she wanted more. I grabbed a small handful and put it in her bowl and she ate that too. Nothing feels better than finally seeing your dog eat. I waited and fully expected the usual stomach upset and eating of grass afterwards, but none of that happened. On a weird side note, I have a very old cat who is losing weight and towards the end of her life and I found her eating the food out of the bowl with my dog a few days later. I know that cats needs are different than dogs needs and she's never tried to eat any of my other dogs food in the past, but she became obsessed with eating this food. I put a small bowl over by her food area and she ate the whole thing. She's been zooming around the house and has quite a pep in her step the last few days. I'm not going to worry about whether this is right for her or not because she's energized and looking better than she has in the last six months! Thank you for making my dog and now cat, happy again!!!!

Not AAFCO or Vet recommended!
I tried this dog food out because I have a very picky little dog. First of all, I tried two different flavor options and he wouldnโt eat either of them after the first bite. I asked my vet if it was a good product that would provide the nutrients that my baby needed and was told that it is not. Dog foods need grains to be balanced and this does not meet recommended standards. She basically told me to throw it away. If you are looking for a food that is nutrient rich, and meets regulations, try Badlands Ranch. I asked my vet about this one and it was approved for me to try it. It is a little dry and my little guy has a hard time with the big pieces but I found that adding a little bit of decent quality wet food and breaking the pieces with my fingers helps him to eat it. It is extremely expensive but since my vet was able to educate me on what to look for in a dog food so I was able to find a wet food to mix with it which makes it last a little longer. This combination is literally the only dog food that my guy will eat and if it will provide the nutrients he needs to stay by my side longer, it is worth it to me to cut my expenses somewhere else to be able to provide it to him. I know not everyone can do that, but I would encourage anyone to ask their vet before spending this much money on a food that isnโt going to provide a balanced nutrition. I guess this is the risk of being a 40โs something person with no human children in the house, the furry baby becomes your world! ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
