Stanley 85-727 3 Piece Universal Joint Kit

These tools are as durable as they feel, which is very nice. Nice quality material and design. Used as they are designed to be used I believe they will last a very long time. My use of these, and most of my tools, is plenty of auto repair and lots of tinkering with lawn equipment, ATVs and motorcycles.

These u-joints appear to be well made and have worked well so far. Can't figure out why they included a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter in the set unless you wanted to connect the two u-joints together???

I'm just throwing them in my toolbox as a few backup pieces and haven't had a chance to use them yet. The shiny chrome is pretty, but they feel cheap when you handle them. The pins are not tight and they rattle. Seems like it would break if you had a heavy job to do. They'll probably be alright for light use but if you're rebuilding an engine or something similar you should probably get something a little more solid. Go easy on the little adapter too, they break off inside sockets very easily if you're really going hard on something, even the more expensive brands do.

I read a lot of reviews about the pins falling out of these causing the whole thing to fall apart on the first use. That didn't happen to me. It seems like there may have been a QC issue, but if you get a good set, then you're fine. I've used these I a couple of small repairs, and they have worked just fine so far.

This product provides flexibility to my socket set and is easy to use.I have not used them for hard jobs but so far they appear to be of good quality.

Excellent quality set. Well manufactured. Used multiple times without any issue.

THIS LITTLE BUGGER WILL WORK OUT FINE. DID NOT HAVE A JOINT KIT IN MY TOOLBOX. STANLEY MAKES GOOD PRODUCTS SO THIS SHOULD LAST FOR A LONG TIME.

They seem fine for the price they were sold for. Only time will tell and I just got them. Nothing more worthwhile to say about them.
