Good quality replacement filter. Don't forget to replace all filters, not just bags.
They fit just fine for my purple Kenmore vacuum that I have had for many years. You cannot just change the bags. You must occasionally change all of the filters to keep the maximum air flow and decrease the strain on the motor as they get older. Especially since I just use the paper bags, as the cloth bags are just too pricey and I do not really have an allergy problem. You really have to be careful with sliding them in. If you are not, the white fabric will bunch up and will decrease the efficiency of this filter as just the foam alone would not be enough. IT is a very powerful vacuum so you do not want to be sucking the dust that escapes the bag into the motor. Overall good quality replacement part and much cheaper than buying from a Sears store. If you have Amazon Prime you get free shipping too.

These were not the exact same as my sweeper had. It was so hard to fit, haha. I had to cut off about a half inch on one end with a pair of scissors and away we go. My 30 year old sweeper sucks like new.

Prevents Dust from blowing back into the room as you vac
The job of any vacuum bag is to collect debris while allowing filtered air to blow right through the walls of the bag. It's not a perfect process, and that's why good vacuum cleaners add a final stage HEPA filter. You can look at the pleats and see them darkening as they catch the finest of all dust particles. If you want really clean air for you and your family to breathe, you need to keep a clean HEPA filter in place at all times. This one came at a good price, it fits and it works.

Hard to find
I had trouble finding these to fit my older model vacuum, but these fit perfectly. They were fairly easy to install.

Great Combination
Good hard to find products for our Kenmore Progressive vacuum. All were quality made and fit as advertised. Also less expensive than in the stores if you can find them. We've had this vacuum for several years and go through the same thing looking all over trying to find the bags and filters. Finally found these and will continue to buy these in the future.

Unfortunately these were the incorrect filters for the vacuum that I have. I was unable to find the information I needed, after much searching.
