I bought this in September 2018 (about 4.5 years ago). It's withstood a house move and still works. I've been looking recently at possible replacements just because the fan has become very noisy when using the oven function and I fear it may be coming to the end of it's useful life. I don't know how easy it would be to fix the fan if it stopped working but I'd still try that first before letting the machine go. I've found it be an invaluable device and even left out a conventional oven when designing my previous kitchen because I had stopped using one with this around. The kitchen in my newer house has an oven but I've never had to use it in the 4 years I've been here. Just be sure to read the dimensions and allow for sufficient clearance because this can affect the performance. My fan problem might be due to my not leaving enough clearance at the back in my new place. Looking around for a replacement I haven't found anything that offers the performance of this machine at anything like a comparable price and if the need arises I will just replace it with the same model if it's still available. The programs are good and I've used quite a few but not all of them. It can be used easily with just the basic functions but I like to keep the manual in a handy drawer for the different programs. I find the instructions quite adequate and I've not had anything go wrong yet. Unlike your "typical male" I like to read manuals for everything I buy and I suggest reading this one through to at least get a knowledge of what it can do and keep it handy for more detailed instructions when you want to try something new. I recommend this machine based on my experience of using it. I don't know if it is relevant but for context I'm a 73 yr old man living on his own.

Samsung are renowned for their quality microwave ovens and this combination oven is no exception, it looks good and is very easy to use the touch controls are well marked and self explanatory, the ceramic interior is very easy to keep clean and looks good, at this offer price 50 percent off what's not to love. Overall a very good looking unit

Bought to replace an ageing Silvercrest microwave. Came well packaged and in flawless condition, it works flawlessly and efficiently and is pretty easy to clean.

Combination microwave is good quality, good size and easy to use. Priced reasonably and a great addition to my kitchen. Tge only disappointment is you only get a 'Quick Start' leaflet and have to scan a QR to get the full user manual to download, I haven't been able to get the full manual on download as problems with QR scan. So I only know how to use the microwave option. I wish they would go back to including the manual side the box of the products, very frustrating for older people

BE WARNED ABOUT SAMSUNG!: This item is not cheap and it is unfortunate that its instruction manual is so glaringly inadequate! So inadequate that using it with the glass supplied plate the 3rd or 4th time I used it it shattered in use inexplicably. I am of the belief that my plate shattered due to a fault yet Samsung refuse to replace the faulty broken plate - One understands why when on a £125 total item a replacement plate is almost £40 - it starts to look as if Samsung make little profit on its sales possibly in the realisation that the profit on replacing a glass plat is 1/3rd the value of the total item! Is this deliberate as a means for Samsung to make a profit!! I have 5 plates from long defunct microwaves - not one fits - seems like the plates are a regular extortion for profit as the fittings ensure they are not inter changeable between machines. I am of the belief that the cost of replacing faulty plates is utterly unethical! I TAKE THE LIBERTY OF ADDING TO THE REVIEW! I finally found the full .PDF of the instructions and having perused it in some detail I found there was no warning that the turntable plates were seemingly provided to break to act as a very profitable lost leader!!! Therefore I asked AI as follows: "WHEN using a SAMSUNG SUPER OVEN MC28H5013 Microwave combined grill/convection stove can I leave the glass turntable in for all modes?" The response was unequivocal and as I suspected the glass turntable seems clearly to have been DELIBERATELY faulty! Here is AI's response: "Great question — the Samsung MC28H5013 “Super Oven” (microwave + grill + convection) does indeed use a glass turntable as its standard cooking surface. According to the official Samsung manual for this model, here’s how it works: 🔹 Turntable Use Across Modes Microwave mode: The glass turntable must always be in place and rotating. You typically place food on the supplied high rack or low rack, which sits on the turntable. The rotation helps achieve more even browning. Convection mode: The turntable also remains inside. SO IT SEEMS SAMSUNG'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT LIED TO ME, when they told me the shattered glass plate was my fault! That it is not heat resistant merely of use on the microwave cycle! It seems it is a breakable plate when used correctly and I can only assume this is to extort the price of an inflated costing plate for replacements! I wonder if Samsung will have the integrity to apologise for their dishonesty and deliver me a replacement free of charge! If they are willing to do so it will save me the expense and hastle of placing this warning, in full, with every supplier of Samsung goods I can locate over the next year or two - >The copy paste< facility on computers is a great marketing aid isn't it ;-(
