I bought this headset initially for customer service rep job, wfh. While it is a great headset for entertainment like watching movie, listening to music, the volume is fantastic! BUT, for work when in a call w customers, even if I put the volume on max it doesn't sound as good as it was when I’m just using it for listening to a music or watching videos online. It sounds mid vol even if it’s already on max volume. I am not sure what’s the reason behind it but it’s a slight issue cause sometimes either callers doesn’t speak loud enough or their on speaker phone, I cannot adjust the volume anymore bc to begin with, it’s already maxed. (not sure if it’s bc I’m on a 3rd party software for work or what but yeah, there’s that). Another key point is, I use this headphones for 8hrs of my job, the cushion on the ear is not the greatest and it makes the side of my ear hurt by wearing it for a long period of time. (+As someone who wears glasses, I have to lift up the thing that rests on the side of the ear cause it hurts after period of time). The quality of the mic/audio is great. Callers can hear me clear for the most part, no static, doesn’t get weird comments anymore like I sound like I’m in a tunnel or on speaker even if I’m not (heard these comments when I was still using a gaming headphones that was built for good sound but not so much for the mic since gaming is a whole other thing that doesn’t necessarily require users to speak, LOL). Overall, I’d say it’s a 50/50, it’s good for its price but for the sole purpose of why I bought the item, it’s not the best in terms of comfortability & technicality w the volume “work wise as csr using 3rd party sofetware” but I guess it will do since I already bought it and it’s doable after all.

Works as advertised

I was looking to replace my old Logitech H540 headset, which is physically falling apart (the non-replaceable padding is disintegrating), and I was hoping for something with higher sound quality and better isolation. These headphones had noticeably worse sound quality than my Logitech headphones. The sound isolation was good. I didn't have an opportunity to test the noise cancellation features since I use this connected to my desktop computer when working on musical arrangements or transcription (which I do occasionally and informally). The problem was that the headphones are "on the ear" rather than "over the ear", and I found that the pressure on my ears was very uneven. I was not able to find a position where there was tight seal without having a lot more pressure on the back of my ears than the front. There was no way to adjust for this. The headphones were reasonably comfortable for short periods if I pushed them farther back, but then I wasn't getting the best of the sound quality. No matter what, I found them to be uncomfortable after about 10 or 15 minutes. Unfortunately I ended up returning these and going with a $12 USB adapter so I could use by higher quality wired headphones with my device that has no easily accessible headphone jack.

I would have given this headset a 5 star review anyway for how satisfied I was with it, but then I had to speak with customer service and was somehow even more satisfied than I was originally. I work for a remote triage nurse company and I am required to wear my headset consistently throughout my shift. I got this headset after it was recommended to me by a coworker. The padding on the ear pieces is very soft and covers my entire ear, so all noise is blocked out around me. I find it to be very comfortable to wear all day. The microphone quality is also great, and it does not have to be directly in front of your mouth to be heard. It is padded all around the headband as well which makes for a more comfortable fit. I don't feel like I would break these easily, and they are very light weight to wear all day. I had this for a little over a month when it stopped working. I contacted customer service, and was very quickly responded to and had a new headset at my doorstep within a few days, free of charge and did not have to send my old headset back. I would definitely recommend the headset and the company again!.
