Growing up in South Africa we used Ballistol oil on every wound of every animal we ever had. Since this is not a well known product in the US, I have forgotten about it. I had a huge problem with my cats coming home with puncture wounds from fighting with our neighbor's cat. If you do not notice them right away they get infected every time which equals at least $350 at my vet. I decided to make a little medical kit for my cats and I had to include this oil. Now I clean their wounds with sterilized gauze using a salt solution. After that I treat the wound three times a day with ballistol oil. I make sure the wound stays open and all the infection goo is out before letting it heal. The oil is also 100% safe if ingested. I tell every pet owner I meet to order this product, it really is that amazing.

My family has used this on animals before. It is great stuff. When our Affenpincher got her back badly burned we used it and her back healed nicely. No hair, but no infection . Good stuff!

Ich benutze das Pflegeöl schon längere Zeit und meine Hunde haben ein weicheres Fell und jucken sich nicht mehr. Der Geruch beim Einreiben ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, verfliegt aber schnell. Außerdem pflege ich ihre Pfötchen damit. Sie sind seitdem nicht mehr trocken und Schmutz perlt gut ab.

Se facessero anche un sugo probabilmente lo acquisterei. Uso i prodotti Ballistol da anni, prevalentemente per la cura e pulizia armi. Stesso inconfondibile profumo e qualità. Questo prodotto lo uso principalmente per la pulizia delle orecchie dei miei cani
