It was diy friendly
I’m not a mechanic but I do all my own auto repairs with a little guidance from YouTube . This is almost identical to my original OEM part. It went in smoothly with out any hiccups. And it’s made strong so hopefully it will never need to be replaced again. Or at least not as long as I own it.

Clunk clunk noisy over bumps have to send them back and install twice now
They clunk over bumps, ridiculous they even sell this subpar quality stuff and of course you have to send them back to get them replaced what a major hassle very frustrating to have to install these again

This product was delivered in a broken box. Product inside was new. I used this strut along with Monroe 272308 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly to replace broken struts on Toyota Camry 2009 XLE V6 (I replaced both sides on the front). it looked similar to the original one which came with my car. I have installed it for about one month. I did not find any problems with struts so far. Many people say suspension becomes smoother after installing new struts. I did not feel that improvements. Since the old struts had 160K miles on it, I was expecting some improvement. I hope the product was original and I wish Amazon was more careful with the packaging.

Good fit - Great ride.
Greatly improved the way the vehicle rode and fit with no issues. Not terribly difficult to install but if you don’t have a decent set of tools or have limited experience, you may want to pay a pro to install.

USELESS front struts on a CAMRY
The Monroe 272307 (Front Left) & 272308 (Front Right) are not suitable for a Camry 2010 XLE. Replaced the old struts with the above and these new Monroe 272307 (Front Left) & 272308 (Front Right) made as much NOISE as the old Struts. Got Replacement Monroe struts from Monroe itself (under warranty) and the NOISE remained unabated. REPLACED Monroe with OEM KYB - Lo & Behold, all the noise vanished - the car sounds & feels brand new once again. I lost money paying for installation on THREE occasion - no thanks to Monroe. No more Monroe products for my vehicles.

Got these for my Lexus es350 and they work very well. I had the originals still on and my handling was real bad last few months. They lasted about 185k. The ride quality is great on these and my car feels great again.
