M4 2.0 Standard/Ultra/Elite Smith Machine, 2200lbs Squat Rack with LAT-Pull Down System & Cable Crossover Machine, Training Equipment with Leg Hold-Down Attachment

I have a few complaints, but want to be clear up front: THIS MACHINE IS EXCELLENT. I AM VERY PLEASED. My first review was very low because the packaging for shipping is inadequate. All the pieces will arrive scratched and paint chipped off which bothers me very much. One piece (a pully) was completely snapped off. This was not FedEx because the box was in perfect condition, but all the stuff inside was rattling all over dinging each other up. That said, they replaced the broken piece and also a missing piece. The shipping took a couple weeks, but they eventually got it to me. Those replacement pieces were packaged perfectly and are actually the only pieces on the entire thing that are not scratched up. Either way, it is all put together now and it works AWESOME! This is a very good and sturdy machine. I am very happy with it. Their customer service was absolutely perfect. They fixed all my issues, so I am very happy. As for the functionality of the machine, there are a few minor things that were poor design choices, such as the weights smashing into each other on the rack. If you load up your weights onto one of the pullies, for example, and have weights on the storage part (on the back sides) then use the pully, the weights smash into the top storage (unless you have tiny weights stored I guess). So that was a poor design choice having it slope towards the top. Very annoying. Also, if you have weights on either pully system and then go do to a smith-machine workout that goes low down (like a squat or dead lift) then they smash into the weights on the pully. This sucks a lot because you cant do any workout that alternates between pully and smith, you gota constantly unload the weights which is a huge pain. Those are just minor complaints though. I want it to be clear that I LOVE this machine. Minor complaints but the rest is awesome. The smith machine is SUPER smooth and stable. It has a TINY tiny bit of "wobble" (seriously TINY bit, barely noticeable), but I actually like it because it makes it feel a tad bit more like a free barbell so you get a bit of stabilizer muscle work. I think it's the perfect setup. As for putting it together, I did it 100% by myself and it took like 8 hours across a couple days. Maybe 10 hours. The instructions are flawless. Excellent excellent instructions. They are written in perfectly clear english and the steps are very simple. They also package the bolts and everything BY THE STEP! So it says "STEP 1" and all those bolts are packaged in their own "STEP 1" package. Setup took a long time because it's a big machine but they really did a perfect job at making it easy with no errors in the manual. Every time I THOUGHT there was an error, it turned out the piece was just hiding in a spot I didn't expect. For example, step 9 had two screw/bolt packages which I didnt realize at first so I thought I was missing some bolts, but I eventually found them. Also, do NOT take the plastic bag off any part until you are at that step. Otherwise you will not know which letter corresponds to that part. Take it all out of the boxes, but leave the labeled plastic on it until you are ready for that part. Including mixed-bag parts (bags with like 5 or 6 different parts in them). All in all... Highly recommend.

Throughout my long assembly process, I told myself I would write a review. For the price of this Smith Machine, it doesn't get anything less than five stars due to the amount of functionality you receive. I felt like every alternate option I looked for (and I searched for weeks) had a compromise somewhere. This is the one that has the most amount of workout options, and that alone is what caused me to purchase. I really like the way the cable racks are designed for the plates. Other machines I looked at only used one bar for the cable racks and I knew over time that the uneven pressure would cause issues with sliding/squeaking. The actual Smith bar itself is incredibly smooth and feels very high quality. I can tell while I'm bench pressing that the cage isn't quite as large as one you would use in a gym, but those are several thousands of dollars and typically only have the Smith bar. Lastly, and this is what stood out to me the most, was the quality of everything. You have to be careful with the instructions because it's mostly visual without explanation, and it could be easy to mix-up the lines if you aren't focused. However, every single item was accounted for and nothing had so much as a scratch. The metal components feel extremely solid, and I love that small plates are used at connection points to protect from buckling. The packages for the screws, bolts, etc. were very well organized as well with the item names affixed below each set which helped immensely. My recommendation for assembly is to grab a marker, and each time you start a new page do a quick inventory of everything you'll need for that page and mark it off and set it aside before working on that portion. I did not take all of the nuts & bolts out at once and instead only took out the pieces when I needed them. Lastly, you'll want to use a socket and impact drill as it will save you A LOT of time and effort. Aside from the miniscule compromises like the metal rings that you use to stack your weights and the weight holders being plastic in certain areas, you just can't beat this Smith Machine for the price. I'm honestly shocked it's not at least $1,500 for the base M4. If the two things I mentioned bother you, you can just go buy a pack of weight rings for $20 to replace the basic ones that this comes with.

I bought this unit to replace a measly Marcy all in one gym. I was super unsatisfied with The marcy's quality and ability to perform exercises i saved up money and waited till a super prime day deal and pulled the trigger and upgraded BIG time to this. The machine is great! super beefy construction, smooth operation and looks fantastic. My wife helped me assemble and it only took us a couple hours from in box to done. The instructions can be a bit hard to figure and see, but with some common sense and attention its not too bad. Everything came perfect and complete. The machine works flawless, super smooth operation, fitment is perfect and for being a big unit, it actually has a decently small footprint. I love all the excerises you can do. From the independent cables to the smith bar to all the included attachments the only thing i can't accomplish is leg extentions. This has made my workout so enjoyable and efficient. So minor cons: The unit comes in multiple deliveries. I dont know if thats Mikolo, Amazon, or FedEx but it was confusing and i thought i didnt get the entire thing, only to find out it came in 2 seprate deliveries. So keep that mind so you dont freak out like me. The instructions are a little hard to decipher and see the illustrations like stated above. And obviously you'll need to buy weight plates to use the unit, but thats part of the deal. Also even though the instructions dont really say, i'd keep up with quality silicone lubricant on the slide bars. All things said and done, I've been using this 4 days a week for a few months now and the machine is flawless, and perfect. I've loved every minute with it, and i see it lasting a long time. Highly recommend. Get it on a prime day or big holiday sale and nab yourself a STEAL!!!!

Just put out Smith Machine together today and I have to say the quality of it is great. It took about 4 1/2 - 5ish hours to put together by myself. The instructions were very easy to follow. All of the parts are labeled to make finding the right part / nut / bolt, etc. very easy. (the part number is on the bag, so do not take the plastic / bag off any of the parts. I realized this after removing the bags / plastic on a few parts). My suggestion is to remove all of the parts / nuts / bolts, etc. from the packing boxes and lay them out in alphabetical order. It makes finding what you need a little easier. I left all of the hardware (nuts, bolts, etc.) in the shrink wrapped packages so they would not get lost. "Tools" are included (I'm using the term "tool" VERY loosely), but if you have your own wrenches / Allen wrenches / rachet set, I would HIGHLY recommend using that versus what is supplied. While the machine could be assembled with the included tools, it would be very difficult. Assembly was for the most part very easy for one person to do. It is not going to be a quick one hour project and done. I did it by myself, taking my time in about 4 1/2 - 5 hours (not counting the unboxing / laying everything out). A couple of hints / suggestions on assembly: 1) DO NOT tighten anything all the way. Leave the parts a little loose to allow some "play" when fitting things together. 2) I would not put the pully wheels in until after the cable is installed. I had to loosen or remove a couple of the wheels to get the cable fed through. 3) After you get the main base put together, make sure you have placed in the location you want it to be after assembly. It is HEAVY. It can be moved, but will require a couple of people to do it. Overall very pleased with the quality. Boxes were not damaged. Parts were in good condition (only had one part that a bracket was just every so slightly bent and needed bent back in order to fit one of the upright pieces, so no big deal). Instructions were easy enough to follow (only complaint would be to maybe have a little larger print for part numbers and pictures for a little easier viewing). Looking forward to being able to work out at home versus spending the money on a gym membership. I will update after the machine has been used for a little while, but based on the first impressions, I would highly recommend this machine for a home gym setting.

Now that I've had this gym set up for a couple weeks I can give an honest review. 1st off the shipment came relatively quick for a package almost 400lbs. It came in 4 boxes. Assembly was easy-ish. The instruction are pretty good with illustrations. And was able to put it together by myself but would have been much easier with a second person. DO NOT UNBAG WHEN UNPACKING, all the labels are on the bags, I'm happy there's not stickers all over the parts. To ensure all parts have smooth movement do not tighten until the very end and use a tape measure to measure matching distances between components on each side. I also used a straight edge and clamps to alight the rear supports together. Pros- lots of attachments come with the gym. The cable system is smooth and lots of adjustability for different exercises. It works relatively well for tall people. I'm 6'5" and have enough clearance to squat the smith bar. Unfortunately just barely to short for seated shoulder press. So many more exercises to do on this machine I can get a great workout on my 4 day split routine. Cons- it wobbles a little bit but you only notice when loading unloading plates. During exercise is fine. The row foot plate is small and does lock in place and falls flat to the floor. Using bumper plates the bar needs to be unloaded to use the cable or the plates hit eachother the outside plate holder. The plates will also hit the top plate storage hook. Overall I am very happy with this gym and the quality from Mikola. My fitness journey is just coming back after a long hiatus. Next up is Mikola TAWERET leg extension/curl.

This machine is a game-changer for my home gym! Reracking weights is so smooth and effortless, making transitions between exercises a breeze. Definitely a solid investment for anyone looking to get a great full-body workout at home.

I love this machine! I’ve had it for a year now and have zero complaints! I workout almost daily and it has everything I need in a home gym. It has held together beautifully and I assembled it by myself. The instructions say two People but I did it alone with zero issues. Very nice setup!

I've waited a while to do the review just to make sure I give an honest opinion. I absolutely love this machine. This machine has everything necessary to workout. There are so many options exercise wise. The machine is sturdy and well constructed. I use the weights storage arms to put my weights and that also helps for stability. And remember its a home gym NOT a commercial gym. This machine is not worth an insane amount of money that you can compare to a commercial machine that is worth thousands of dollars. I have curl bars, dumbbells, and all the other gym equipment that compliments my workouts that you will find in a gym that sometimes you are use to using. I don't have to leave the house or have any membership in a gym to complete a workout for lack of. I'm really satisfied as a customer. If your looking to find something to criticize you will always find something. There's nothing with the machine that affects my ability to get complete workouts and that's what I was looking for. Just the value that the pullies is enough for me. There are so many options that I have with the pullies in combination with the bench that it's more than enough. It has a landmine which is awesome and a plus for me. It also has a setup to put battle ropes another plus. Another plus for me was also the footprint of the machine. When I put it together I was surprised to see how compact it was but comfortable. The sleek look of the machine is amazing it looks like an expensive machine. I bought the all black model and it didn't disappoint. Communication with the seller was amazing also. The machine is shipped in two parts. That I didn't know. So I emailed the company and they got back fast. I had several conversations threw email and they never took more than a full day to get back to me. When the machine was fully assembled I was missing one part something simple nothing big. They told me to take pictures, and send them which I did. The next message they sent me was that the part was on it's way. Ans surely enough it arrived in three days which also surprised me not only that it arrived fast but there was no hassle from them or a going back and fourth just me trying to get my part. and that for me is also a plus. Another big plus for me is that they send plenty of nuts bolts and washers because that's one thing, there will be a lot of bolting things together, they sent extras. Sometimes you don't get enough and now you have to go and buy some, which for me is not a deal breaker it's more about the inconvenience of having to stop something leave and come back. The instructions are pretty good. Just make sure you do it exactly how it says, because i tried to be slick and bypass certain steps to hurry up and it didn't workout. You will be going back and loosening the parts. But that was on me. For me this machine is what I was looking for and I'm glad I bought it. And for the price I really can't complain. It's really an all in one gym.
