Impossible to alter size

I bought to use in my drop ceiling basement after receiving a free Mitsubishi xd221u lcd projector from a friend. I was a bit reluctant due to the price but it is well worth it. I am not "handy" and this was an easy install with a ton of extra sized screws and parts to fit my projectors needs. Actual panel fit right in my 2" x 2" drop ceiling space. Well constructed and not a single part is made with inferior materials. I like the different adjustment mechanisms to perfect alignment of the image. Not sure if it is available but would like to see an extension arm offered that is compatible with this unit, this would enable someone with a higher ceiling to get the projector down lower where less adjustments need to be made via the projector settings (lens shift, zoom, keystone, etc.)

I bought this mount to use for my home theatre which is in my basement. I have a 2x2 drop ceiling and a BenQ TK700STI projector. The tile has a nice secure fit and the mount is very easy to adjust to get your projector into the perfect position. I also really liked that this unit has three mounting options on the side, besides just the middle mount option. I moved my projector to the side middle mount point because it allowed me to line up my projector with my screen without needing any keystone correction. Overall, I am really happy with both the ceiling tile and projector mount!

Ordered 3 of these for our office. Fit into our standard ceiling tile frames just fine and cutting one of the tiles in half completed the professional look. Adjustment and tightening of the mount is easy and stays in place with our Epson projectors. Would definitely buy again.

This was by far one of the best investments we have made! We use drop ceiling and the actually ceiling is maybe about two feet higher than the drop ceiling so before we were using a long arm projector mount to go straight to the actually ceiling, but there would be a lot of shaking and the projection image would ‘unadjust’. I took the advice of another buyer and took the time to use my existing ceiling tile instead of just using the metal ceiling tile provided. Simply cut the outline of the arm, put the original drop ceiling and then the metal plate on top of the drop ceiling, and screw in the arm! It looks great and clean! Highly recommended, very sturdy and easy to use!
