Good quality, compact power strip
This APC surge arrest has plenty of ports and in a compact format which is ideal to sit on top of my desk and fixed with adhesive putty. It's markedly well made and the two USB ports are great for the occasional charging or to connect my desk fan during summer.

Solid, safe but features removed for UK model
This APC has a solid build, a unlimited 20 year warrenty in Germany, 2 years for UK, the 50,000 Euro protection etc. It has spacing for large wall wart type plugs and can be wall mounted. But this 6 gang USB version no longer has the 'Ground Ok' and 'Overload' LED's and the reset switch for the RCD and the RCD itself either have all been removed or are not for the UK model. Despite amazon still listing these features. Based on 1 star reviews of the next best equivilant by Belkin this seems miles better by comparison though. Still I hope this does the job and despite never having had a power surge it does bring peace of mind for £1000's of studio and PC equipment hooked up to it.

Do you know what your actually buying?
Trading standards need to look at this, the item you select Model: PM6U-UK shows it has a side reset button, none sold in the UK for several years now have reset buttons! This model shows with 2 x USB and 6 sockets (PM6U-UK) as having ‘Protection’ ‘Overload’ and ‘Ground Ok’ indicators, IT ONLY HAS A PROTECTION INDICATOR! (See photos)

Nice and Sturdy!
Great product, high quality. I feel safe using it and I like how you can make the cord go out on the left or the right. Love APC brand, never have had an issue.

Good Product
Well specified device giving the potential for protecting against surges. I selected APC as I have used before, as well as Belkin, imho this is a better specified device and the design is more compact.
