can a Logitech mouse and Nano usb plug work with it?

The first answer is correct. Answers 2 and 3 are wrong. This keyboard is NOT compatible with Unifying receiver nor does it come with one. I relied on those incorrect answers and now I'm stuck with the wrong keyboard. From Logitech support for K380: "(K380) Keyboard isn't working - In order for your keyboard to work with your device, the device must have built-in Bluetooth capability or be using a third-party Bluetooth receiver or dongle. Has anyone had success using this keyboard, an ipad, and Lightroom CC?

I connected and use on iPAD with no problems.

Does it come with a case? looking for a compact keyboard that travels well for my samsung galaxy s2 9.7 tablet.

This is not delicate plastic: it definitely travels well. I've tossed it case-less into my backpack 20-30 times, in the 20 months I've owned this, and it still looks and works like new. I generally transport it with one of my Microsoft Surface tablets, and headphones, nothing more harmful than that.

Are the keys backlit?

No. Only the synch indicator lights up briefly when looking to connect.
