SL-300VC, Solar Powered Standard Function Calculator, Blue

It's a really cute calculator, works as it should but i had to return it cause it was too small for me to use for fast calculating and be accurate without slowing down when I press on the buttons since the buttons are small. I slipped or pressed the wrong button too often or the calculator would slide since I punch the numbers fast with some force. i wish they made a bigger version, it's super cute. here's a photo for comparison of size

Cool little calculator! Great for balancing books at the end of a day. Love the time function. And the backspace key <3 Also has a constant calculation function (k). I dont quite understand it yet, but instructions are printed on the inside of the box. You basically store an operation (+5, ×6 etc) into memory by double pressing the operation key. Then press = to perform the operation repeatedly. Interestingly though, the listed dimensions (5.4" x 8") are incorrect. Calculator measures 2¾in x 4⅝in, or 7cm x 11.8cm. Perfect pocket size though. Comes w/ a rudimentary case I may or may not use. Wish the screen lit up for use in low light, but I suppose that isn't standard in these little calculators.

I really, really LOVE this little calculator!!! So easy to read and use! Not tiny … not big … just right! Exactly what I wanted AND expected from the description and reviews, which I read carefully. Batteries were included. AND …. I love the pink! I’m 72 and life is too short to be boring or buy stuff that’s difficult to use! This is a good size. It’s not lighted but the size is good and I can use in the low light in my living room while watching TV. Casio still has it —- I bought my first Casio calculator in 1971 - it was the bomb (at that time) - was electric and did only major calculations. Cost was $150.00!!! But we two teachers got our money back that first year completing grades for 14 classes!! Now, 50 years later, I’m still loving CASIO!!!

I’m in construction and have calculators everywhere. My phone is a calculator, desk, scientific calculator for cathedral windows…. This is a fantastic “truck” calculator for me. Size is great to keep in the vehicle. Buttons are perfectly responsive (this is what makes me a calculator snob) I can stand to hit a button and the have to start an entire equation over because I didn’t realize I missed a digit.

This is a nice, small inexpensive basic calculator for pocket or purse - it has a good looking and decent size LCD display, two way power, a handy tax function, and oddly (to me, at least), it also has a time calculator function (hours/minutes/seconds). The keys are easy to operate and it even comes in a variety of fun colors. Unfortunately, the "case" is kinda janky. It's just a binder-style affair with a strip of double-stick tape that I guess you're supposed to affix to the backside of the calculator, thus obscuring the backside's snappy color. Really? For the cost of that case, they probably could have made a sliding cover, or even a pocket sleeve. Second, the instructions explain the tax and time function, but nothing else. I mean, it's basic enough, but - Amazingly, this is the first calculator (out of tons) I ever owned that had this mysterious "triangle" key that looks like a "play" button. After digging around on the web, I finally learned that this key is a 'last digit entered erase' key, i.e., if you enter a number that has many digits and you enter a wrong digit, you use this key to erase the last digit you entered (it's a backspace key). Conclusion - love the calculator, but the case and instructions could certainly have been better. :)

All Great Except for the Missing Direction … Imagine our surprise that this simple but effective +tax memory - solar powered calculator with good button feel had only real flaw… Wait for it … You Guessed it - the directions for use that came with this calculator in its instructions for saving the tax into memory forgot the very last instruction. And that was to use the exact same button that started to save TAX to memory to finalize the amount of tax you want to save into memory. Without this final instruction, every time you try to save the tax to memory it forgets lol! … With a little perseverance, you may have found it out as well but now you don’t have to go looking we recommend this calculator.

My wife wants a simple calculator with big buttons & display, solar power, and basic calculations. This checked all the boxes. In addition, I like the Casio brand, low price, easy to see blue-white-yellow color scheme, and handy tax & time calculations.
