I purchased this item and have owned for about 3 wks now. I have a German Shepard that sheds and needed something quicker than my big Dyson to pull out on a daily. Previously owned Shark products and have loved them. This unit was affordable, has great suction, and easy to clean out. I did purchase the additional warranty due to it being refurbished but honestly you can’t even tell the product is practically new.

Even as refurbished, this vac is great. I just need for quick vac on hardwood and area rugs for every other day tidying. It gets the job done. And it detaches for staircase use. While power is ok, cordless is the only option! I now use in place of my Roomba since it’s faster and targeted as I need. For $100 refurbished, this is a super-buy! Mark in NY

Nice light weight vacuum. Easy to use , good suction. I especially like the carpet setting , it works extremely well.

Maneuverable, light, paddle "brushes" don't clog with wife's 18"+ strands of hair. Slightly annoying it doesn't stand on its own fully assembled. Slightly annoying no on-board storage for accessory tips. Suction is reasonable for a handheld cordless device. It's certainly not a shop vac.

I ordered a refurbished version at a reduced cost- that’s worth mentioning. It appeared brand new, no signs of previous use or defects. Battery was fully charged upon arrival Pros- Option to use handheld, lightweight, appropriate attachments. Crevice tool helps me get along baseboards, stairs and other difficult places I was vacuuming dust off of fan blades and was able to suck a fly out of the air, to give an idea of how strong this thing is. The battery life is exceptional, the different power settings and the “boost” option are great Cons- I have only one. The floor attachment doesn’t offer near as much power. Using the trigger to boost suction wears the battery down a bit faster but I essentially have to use it when trying to vacuum my carpeted room Conclusion- this is great for a home that doesn’t actually have a substantial amount of carpet.

This sounds so silly but I seriously LOVE this vacuum! It's the best $100 I think I may have ever spent. My floors stay so much cleaner than they ever have and it's so easy to clean the stairs now. It works on my rugs no problems and is super easy to clean, carry around and move. A plus!

….you don’t buy a cordless stick vacuum for deep cleaning; you buy it for convenient touch ups and to clean small messes. This unit works well for that purpose. If you keep your house / car clean, the Shark cordless stick vac is a nice tool to have around for quick cleaning jobs. The reconditioned one being reviewed here is in like new condition and works as described.

I have never seen my wife so overjoyed by a vacuum cleaner. She has had many, but this one is light, powerful and cordless. She can carry it upstairs, doing the stairs as she goes. For an older woman (age 67) it is a wonderful appliance.
