Danish Blue Cheese - Approx. 6 Lb-Wheel or (3lb 2 wheels)

This is an excellent Blue Cheese. Impressive wheel, plenty for multiple occasions with many quests. I bought this several times before and with the holidays here one after the other it was due. The taste is fantastic and with a creamy texture, yummy. Pairs up with any meal, salad or a fantastic Grilled Cheese.

Excellent product for an excellent price; Green Island Daniblu is the creamiest of the Danish blues. Package was also speedily shipped and beautifully packed. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

It has become difficult to find blocks of blue cheese (stores only seem to be selling crumbles), so even though this purchase was 6lbs, I bought it and will be sharing it with friends. This is the real thing - genuine imported Danish blue: smooth, melt-in-the-mouth creamy, and deliciously salty. However........ it was reported shipped from NY on a Friday, was delivered the following Monday, and was testing on three small freezer gel packs. The gel was completely melted and the cheese was room temperature, The seller/shipper absolutely needs to provide much better cold storage during transit: styrofoam container, dry ice etc.

This Danish blue cheese is good, I thought I would try it out and I'm not disappointed seems creamer than the England's type I buy. It's got more vains in it and it seemed damper so I just put it in the fridge for a day open and it worked out for my likes. I use it in salads and just eating, but yeah it's quite good.

Was not impressed at all, none of the reviews matched mine at all. Cheese was dry, wasn't least bit creamy. Could not "spread" on crackers when at room temperature. It had a bland taste lacking the "strong" in depth blue flavor. I couldn't find the "Use-By" date on the packaging, suspect it was long past. I cut up the wheel, believing the interior might be better, unfortunately, it was the same throughout. I vacuum packed all the pieces & put them in the freezer, otherwise I would have returned it. I'll experiment making sauces. Quite disappointed as I relish sampling quality cheese samples in the evening with a favorite cocktail, this cheese isn't one of them, a $70 setback. (One 6lb wheel was delivered, not two 3lb's, however this wasn't a problem).

It's DELICIOUS! I LOVE it! However, it was supposed to come in TWO 3 lb wheels. It came in ONE 6 lb wheel. Not a deal-breaker. I got the same amount of cheese and it is wonderful. It's my daily dessert, although on occasion I snack on it too. I will definitely buy it again. Thank you.
