First one I've tried
This is the first grip tape cleaner I've tried so can't compare it to any others but all I care about is it works, it gets dust and grime off my grip tape and doesn't wreck it.

Good cleaner
This is a great product for removing minor blemishes and dirt patches from your grip tape. I use it after every skate session and it keeps my grip looking new and clean. Just don't expect it to clean off large amounts of mud as that's not what its for.

I didn't use it for a skateboard...but
I spotted this on Amazon Vine, and knew I had an immediate use for it. But not for cleaning skateboard grip. I assumed it would be crepe rubber, and it is. And very good quality crepe, at that. Crepe rubber is ideal for cleaning abrasive sanding belts, on disc and belt sanders, even orbital sanders, and it works a treat. If it'll clean a bench belt sander, it'll easily clean a skateboard deck...it'll just take you a little longer!

Probably not as necessary as you think
It's ok, will help shift light dirt and dust but anything more than that and it's just not going to shift it. For what it costs you can probably re grip your board now and then. Some.may swear by these but not for me I'm afraid.
