Comfortable and useful
I used the Cloud 2 for a long time and now after switching to the Cloud 3 Wireless it honestly feels like they just fixed everything that bothered me before. Comfort is the first thing you notice, the ear pads are softer, it doesn’t squeeze your head, and I can keep it on for hours without feeling tired. The sound is cleaner too, footsteps and small details in games are easier to pick out and the bass is strong without turning muddy like the Cloud 2 sometimes did. The mic is clearer, my friends on Discord noticed right away. Battery life is great, I only charge it every couple of days and the wireless connection never dropped or lagged for me. Build quality feels solid with the metal frame and the headset doesn’t feel cheap at all. Only small downside is the dongle being a bit big, and switching devices isn’t super smooth. The mic still isn’t studio level but it’s completely fine for gaming. Overall, coming from the Cloud 2, this feels like a straight upgrade in comfort, sound and battery. It’s just a really good headset to use every day.

No BS, amazing for a gaming headset
I only use this for gaming on my PC, and it's amazing. There's no BS to it. I don't need ANC, Bluetooth, RBG, swiveling ear cups, or more switches/buttons. I don't use it outside of gaming on my PC, I don't stream, I don't record audio/video, nor do I use it to watch videos or movies. I just need it for gaming and to communicate with friends in-game or in discord. This does exactly what I want it to do, does it very well, and is super comfortable. I initially got the Logitech G Pro X 2, which was nice as well, but I was having connectivity issues with it and decided to return it and got the Cloud III wireless instead. Super happy and no regrets at all. My only wishes was that I prefer switches, rather than buttons. I like to slide the power button on/off, instead of having to press and hold a button for 2-3 seconds, but that's not a big deal. The USB-C cable that comes with it is short and should have been at least 2-3 times longer. It's fine for charging while not in use, but it's too short and you most likely won't be able to charge while gaming. This is not as big of a deal because we have plenty of other longer USB-C cables we can use. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that wants it for gaming, and even when I listen to music on YouTube, it sounds excellent. Update: The microphone sample rate and bit depth defaults to 16000 Hz for the microphone on this headset, but you can change this to 32000 Hz and it makes the mic so much clearer and better. Just go to PC sound settings > microphone properties > advanced tab, and change the format from 16000 to 32000 Hz, apply, and save.

Great for work too!
The 120-hour battery is no joke. Extremely comfortable for long work hours and the spatial audio is very impressive. It doesn't have all the buttons that others have. I wish I could pause a video while not at the computer, but the comfort and quality are worth the exchange.

Wanted to like them, but they just don't consistently work.
The bad: - I've had ongoing intermittent issues with these headphones on multiple computers and operating systems. On two different Linux computers (running PipeWire and WirePlumber to manage audio devices), they disconnect and reconnect to the receiver VERY frequently, like every couple of minutes. On my Windows computer, they stay connected, but when I'm in voice calls my friends constantly say that my voice randomly becomes quiet, or that they don't hear the first part of my sentences. This happens even with input noise thresholds turned all the way down and noise filtering features off. In contrast, my wireless Cloud II headset works fine on all these computers and has none of these issues. - The leather covering on the earpads cracked on the inner ring (near where it attaches to the mesh covering the driver), on both sides. See attached picture. This happened after roughly 6 months of relatively light use. These leather cracks rubbed against the outer part of my ears and caused them to get red and irritated. I didn't notice these cracks because they're on the part of the leather that's tucked away between the rest of the earpad and the mesh, so I was very confused for several weeks wondering why these were irritating my ears so badly. The good: - The wireless connectivity on these is much better than my wireless HyperX Cloud II headphones. I can walk around my house and not lose connection, whereas with the Cloud II I would lose connectivity as soon as there was a wall between me and the wireless receiver. Summary: I wanted to like them, but I couldn't get them to consistently work on any of my computers. They had a plethora of issues across my various computers, system updates, etc. The improved connectivity range (compared to the Cloud II) doesn't really help if they don't work properly. I'll be contacting HyperX customer support to see if I can swap them out for the older Cloud II headset, and if not, I'll probably just throw them away. Update: HyperX support said there's nothing they can do for me since it's past the 30 day return window, so I guess I'll just be throwing these in the trash. I'm very tempted to buy a Cloud 2 to replace this Cloud 3 since the Cloud 2 works SO much better, but I dislike the idea of giving HyperX more money if they sell their customers products that are full of bugs and then won't do anything for the customers to make it right. I'll look into getting other headphones from a company with better products and customer support.
