Denver Electronics BTS-200 Rechargeable Bluetooth Speaker - 10 Watt, USB phone charging & AUX IN

BTS200 Mk1 - mine came with 2 x 1.5 inch diameter speakers - one on front / one on rear. It plays in stereo - checked with guitar type music like Van Halen - You Really Got Me / or various Judas Priest tracks etc where definitively one guitar on left or right of stereo. BTS200 Mk2 - According to the Denver website, BTS200 Mk2 (since ca. Apr.2019) has larger speakers inside (and 2x separate treble speakers). I suspect the new ones on Amazon at 35 or 40 quid are Mk.2 but it is not made clear in description. On e B a y it is usually clear whether Mk.2 or not. ... If get 2x these speakers then can use each one as a right or left channel speaker and separate the speakers each side of laptop for great real stereo sound - have to split your sound output from 3,5mm stereo to 2x RCA Phono eg. with a Primewire cable 2x RCA (ASIN: B079FV5JCV), then take each channel of the RCA to left/right 3,5mm plug for each speaker - eg. using 2x C2G 3.5mm Stereo Male to RCA Stereo Female Adapter (ASIN: B002DWAXMI). ... (You can only connect one of these by bluetooth to one device at a time, unless you have Samsung's dual Bluetooth (I have not tried that)). ... SOUND - amazing for the price paid (got it when BTS200 Mk.1 was on offer at 9.99 quid) Not sure that it is worth 40 quid - as there are other REALLY good speakers around 25 to 35 quid... I found that the sound is better with a quality 3,5mm cable (eg. Primewire 3,5mm audio jack cable braided - B07P65M8BD), rather than the cheap budget audio cable supplied. Sound on Bluetooth is as good and slightly louder than on cable. BLUETOOTH - It does Bluetooth wireless connection with all my devices. AUX / AUDIO /3,5mm - It does have a 3,5mm input socket and a supplied 3,5mm wire for connecting by cable. BATTERY - It has a (I think) 2200mAh? lithium battery inside - and can connect a phone to it to charge the phone via full size USB 2.0 socket. Can also charge it up via USB from the laptop/pc. Seems to last about 7 to 8 hours on medium volume. ... GUITAR AMP / Mini-Amp : (!) works as a mini-amplifier for an electric guitar (!) - good for low volume practicing. Even accepts the sound of a distortion pedal without problem (be careful with gain/volume from effect pedal) ... need a 3,5mm male to 6,35mm female adapter / (or a 3,5mm cable plus an adapter from 3.5mm Female to 6.35mm male Mono) ... It feels solid and well made. The "M" button on top is to switch between using Bluetooth or via 3,5mm aux cable.

This is an astonishing speaker for the price. Build quality appears good , simple to set up and nice styling with a useful carriage handle. The sound qualty has a nice spread and volume is surprisingly good for its size. If you want a straight forward product that performs well and looks good in any setting you cant go wrong with this.

Very good speaker and very good value for money, sound is very clear with reasonable amount of bass. Unfortunately first unit had to be returned due to something rattling inside. Replacement sent by Amazon and all good. Would highly recommend this speaker as very well constructed.

At under £10 this is a fantastic retro-looking speaker with solid build and matching sound quality. FM radio would have been a bonus, but I can't complain given the low asking price. The power bank feature works fine too. Bargain audio beast!

This is a sturdy, nicely loud bluetooth speaker. Good solid construction and phenomenal value. Volume is good and solid at about 75% of volume which is plenty loud enough.

Very happy with my purchase. Bought for my daughter who loves it. Works great and looks good. What more could you ask for?

Leider muss ich mich der Bewertung meines Vorgängers anschließen. Optisch sieht das Gerät top aus und ist auch gut verarbeitet. Der Sound ist aber eher mit der Schulnote 'ausreichend' zu bewerten sehr wenig Bass und hört sich blechern an wenn man lauter macht. Werde mir nun entweder noch einen JBL-Clip zulegen oder nochmal ein VEHO Gerät. Die sind nicht teurer aber soundlich viel besser. Geht zurück! Nachtrag, nun muss ich für den Schrott auch noch den Rückversand selbst zahlen! na toll. Der Verkäufer 'CAS-Discount GmbH' bekommt jetzt erstmal ne angemessene Bewertung!

Rein Optisch ein sehr gelungener Lautsprecher. Leider schien mir meiner defekt zu sein?! Denn schon bei geringer Lautstärke verzerrte der Ton unangenehm. Daher ging er wieder zurück. Schade...
