Absoloutely excellent device and so much smaller than I imagined. I bought this soley for using with my Kobo as a page turned and it works brillaintely. I have also used it on my Android phone for a few games and emulators and it just works no issue. Green colour is lovely also!

I tried to hold it vertically and use the arrows to navigate wsad on my left hand and use mouse in my right hand. Basically I just wanted to test if my left thumb is only used for movements working or not. And surprisingly it worked. You can customise keys very easy with the app. Connection very steady and easy. I hope in the newer versions they replace the arrow keys with a joystick kind of.

This is a quality product and was more perfect for my use-case than I expected. Build quality feels solid, I have accidentally dropped it on several occasions and it's still going strong. Granted, they weren't very hard impacts. Battery life lasts for several days of a few hours playing if you remember to turn it off when you're not using it. I have very large hands and have no real discomfort playing games with this, but I also don't need precision when I'm playing. Is it ergonomic? Not really. Is it amazingly easy to keep multiple of these in a bag or pocket so you can play fighting games with friends? Hell yes. It's the perfect companion for a phone. I managed to get the mobile clip for it (or the zero 2) and it's been amazing to play Gameboy games. Buttons aren't excessively noisy and aren't likely to disturb the people around you. It's not going to replace your main controller, especially if you need precision and comfort for playing for very long periods of time. But if you only play for several hours a day and want spare or backup controllers then these are great. I bought two of them and with a phone case that has a stand you can very easily play games with a friend. Or if I expect I might need to wait for something, one of these and the phone clip is part of my daily carry.

This has helped me to be an absolutely Anki nerd and now I’m top of my class. Great

This was recommmended to me by a fellow photographer for culling photos in Lightroom or PhotoMechanic. Using an app called joystick Mapper on my Mac, I can control either program and quickly go through hundreds of photos, picking, colour coding, rating or deleting. Easier than using the keyboard shortcuts.

Got these so my two boys could play games on a tablet. They pair well, can be used on multiple devices, super easy set up. Very convenient for travel - used them on a long haul flight and it was a blast! Relatively small form factor which is a plus for packing away, and travel. Not sure about battery life yet, but they have held charge well so far

Bought this as I like to play games on my tablet and sometimes find the onscreen controls annoying. I thought this small controller would solve this problem. I liked the item initially, it is really small but I have smaller hands so unpacked it and set it up on my Samsung tablet. It seemed to connect, so I started up a game, excited that I would finally be able to pass a tricky level where my thumbs on screen were causing issues. The controller seemed to be working OK for a while but suddenly one of the buttons stopped working. I paused and re-connected the controller again it worked for a while then stopped working completely. I tried several games and the controller kept partially or fully disconnecting from my tablet. I figured there must have been a compatibility issue with my tablet so returned the controller.

C'est mon 3e gamepad 8bitdo, et pas du tout déçu. Celui-ci me sert sur tel android, avec Scummvm et Lemuroid. Pas d'input lag apparant. Solide et bonne autonomie.

Amazing device and have huge multuse , you can reprogram all the keys using an offical app and later used it as shortcut keyboard for your windows computer.

Super sprzęcik. Może działać jako kontroler Switcha, jako Kontroler w trybie D-input do różnych sprzętów i jako programowalna klawiatura. Co ciekawe do każdego trybu może być może być przypisane inne urządzenie i np. w trybie klawiatury("K") łączy się moim laptopem, w trybie "D" z moim telefonem, a w trybie "S" z konsolą. Można go również podłączyć przez kabel USB jeśli jakieś urządzenie nie posiada łączności Bluetooth

Appena ricevuto questo 8Bitdo Micro Gamepad, la prima impressione non è stata delle migliori: la costruzione mi sembrava un po’ economica e ho avuto qualche dubbio sulla qualità dell'acquisto. Ma come si dice, mai giudicare un libro dalla copertina: dopo averlo provato, mi sono completamente ricreduto. Il collegamento Bluetooth con lo smartphone è stato semplicissimo. Lo utilizzo principalmente con emulatori (come RetroArch e My Boy) ed è risultato perfettamente compatibile, con una risposta dei comandi precisa e rapidissima, praticamente senza lag. Uno dei suoi punti di forza è la portabilità: è davvero minuscolo, sta nel palmo della mano, e si può tranquillamente portare anche come portachiavi. Non serve nemmeno una custodia. È ideale per chi vuole un controller sempre a disposizione, anche per partite veloci fuori casa. Nonostante le dimensioni, è sorprendentemente ergonomico. Si impugna bene e non affatica, almeno per sessioni di gioco brevi o medie. Il colore verde inizialmente non mi ha entusiasmato, ma alla lunga diventa anche simpatico. Fa parte del suo stile “giocattoloso”, ma funzionale. Durata della batteria eccellente: difficile dare una stima precisa, ma direi che regge tranquillamente 3-4 ore abbondanti di gioco. E considerata la dimensione ridottissima, è davvero notevole. È stato il mio primo prodotto di 8BitDo e mi ha convinto al punto da acquistare subito anche un controller più grande della stessa marca – anche quello con una qualità davvero elevata. In conclusione, un prodotto molto più valido di quanto sembri a prima vista, ideale per il retrogaming in mobilità, con prestazioni brillanti, grande compatibilità e autonomia.

Game changer for Anki and really easy to connect once you get the add on. Ever since I got this I have become much more efficient at studying with Anki. I also use it to play games on my phone or ipad occasionally. The manual that comes with it is quite comprehensive and has all the information you need on there. The blue tooth syncing is really efficient and I haven’t had any problems with it randomly disconnecting or having to reconnect it. The response time is already incredibly good and in sync with the device.
