Worked perfect...now we have air!

Had no idea why my 2004 Yukon XL AC/heater controls stopped working on a day that was over 100 degrees this past week! My AC blew hot air and would not change speeds and would not turn off the blower motor, even after I turned off my SUV and took the key out. I had to disconnect me vehicle battery every time I wasn't driving, ughh! After doing quick research I figured would try this part out as a first attempt. Looking at Google and YouTube it looked easy so had friend help me and it was replaced in about 15 minutes. Viola, it worked and now I have my AC and heater controls back!! Thank you so much for getting my part to me overnight! I ordered it late afternoon and next morning it arrived at 4am! Awesome!!

Update Jun 2023: here we are 7 months later and it has completely failed- filling my truck with horrid smoke and could've probably caught on fire if I didn't happen to be in it since it has power 100% of the time. I knew exactly what it was and so I was able to react and literally rip/tear the wires right out while pulled off the side of the road and half into the ditch! I knew it was garbage when I first got it and shoulda never installed it. Original review: October 2022 Well this wasn't the best experience. I ordered this part because it was $50 less expensive than my local parts store. When I received the part I immediately noticed the wire crimp had broken free (it appears it just wasn't crimped well. I thought no problem- I'll just cut of the end and use the plug from the factory (OEM) part. Well much to my surprise - this module was defective and when I plugged it in the blower motor spooler right up to high just like the one I was replacing. For just a second- I thought I had mis-diagnosed the problem. Since they're easy enough to remove- I grabbed the one from my other truck and it worked perfectly. Dilemma now of course is that I cut the wires off the first one and spliced on the old connector. That'd have been fine, and is pretty much standard practice for lots of the replacement resistors- but now I'm trying to return it and I fear I'm going to be disappointed with the outcome. Outta respect for the thought I mighta just got the "one bad one" I've ordering another of the same and hoping that Amazon refunds me for the first. We'll see. If its the case that I did indeed get "the bad one" - I will happily update this review accodingly.
