This is always a must have when the flu season comes around, the bigger bottle makes it better value and puts less pressure on me to get more when I'm sick as the bottle is bigger. Tastes awful, but I always say the worst the taste the better the results, and for this product I am right, it is super effective.

Taste is comparable to buttercup syrup only with a less expensive price tag not identical to buttercup syrup however very similar very close . It's effective, sooths throat , helps with cough however best taken if not eating or drinking afterwards because once you've had a for example cuppa afterwards it removes the effectiveness of the medication

Night nurse is better option

Let’s get this out of the way: Covonia tastes like someone bottled the spirit of a haunted Victorian medicine cabinet. No cap measurements included, probably because they know no one’s sipping this stuff like fine wine. Just a couple of brave swigs straight from the bottle and I was instantly reminded that I'm alive… painfully so. BUT—credit where it’s due. I was coughing like a gremlin in a tumble dryer, and this stuff shut it down fast. Within minutes, the cough settled, and I finally got some sleep. More importantly, my other half didn’t have to endure another night of me hacking like a Dickensian orphan in a smog storm. So while the taste is somewhere between "burnt liquorice mixed with vengeance" and "spicy despair," it does what it says on the (bitter) tin. Would I drink it for fun? Absolutely not. Would I drink it again to sleep and save my relationship? In a heartbeat. Covonia: because sometimes effectiveness comes at the cost of your taste buds' will to live.

Honestly it’s not the worst thing i’ve ever had, it’s quite hard to swallow the full amount so sometimes it’s easier to do half of the amount, it’s quite thick but you can definitely feel it on your throat. I didn’t take it when my throat was super super sore so i can’t contribute to that, however i have been using it with a slight sore throat and i have seen a difference! The taste is okay, it’s not the nicest thing in the world

Ok. Almost immediate short-term relief for tickly cough. Unfortunately the taste is not very nice.

Lately some nights I lay down and a dry cough wakes me up and keeps me awake. This cough medicine gets rid of it and lets me go back to sleep. I only have to take it when needed during the night.

An effective cough syrup that works as advertised. Bought 2, but one bottle arrived was broken. Amazon did not respond for a credit or replacement. I will not purchase this product via Amazon again.

Excellent product, New, is very effective in relief coughing extremely fast. Better than any other brand. Highly recommended.

This stuff tastes awful (probably too strong for younger kids) but it works better than other OTC syrups.
