Harvest Moon the Winds of Anthos (Switch)

Girlfriend loves it !. Simple to use just slot it into the Nintendo Switch and away you go, graphics are gorgeous and the gameplay will keep her busy for weeks.

I must admit, I read a few walkthroughs about the beginning and decided to grind plenty of wood before I hit the stage where your energy starts to be used up chopping wood. This gave me plenty of wood at the start, a good tip of you don’t mind grinding at the start and not rushing. The game is nice to relax to and you can choose how you wish to play. The graphics are nicely done.

Get past the generic introductions at the start, and once alone it becomes enjoyable. The areas to explore are huge, this keeps the game fun and interesting with many different items to obtain and varieties of seeds. I haven't completed the game, just enjoying it, but I love it so far

Harvest Moon Wind Of Anthos took me around 50 hours to complete when just focusing on the main storyline and not doing all the extra side repetitive villagers quests. I found this game to be the most frustrating Harvest Moon game I have ever played. The world you play in, is very spread out and when you are travelling from town to town and running and walking it just eats through your daily energy. The thing which annoyed me the most is that you can’t jump of ramps or ledges when travelling around so you have to travel the long way around the hills and mountains which takes forever to get anywhere while using your daily energy. I also really struggled with some of quests I had to do as they were very vague and after the first town I just got really lost and confused where I needed to go to move the story on so I ended up Googling it. Some quests require you to come back on a full moon or clear night so you have to wait days for this to happen in the game. There isn’t much farming that is required from the game and you can move the story on mostly by mining resources and cutting down trees. A different feature this game brings over the other games in the series is, that can befriend animals in the wild however unless it’s a chicken, horse or sheep they don’t offer anything extra to your game apart from finding the food to feed them with. Overall, if you want to try out Harvest Moon game on the Nintendo Switch I would recommend Harvest Moon One World or the shorter game Harvest Moon Light Of Hope over this game.

Dopo anni di Harvest Moon un po' deludenti, finalmente questo titolo torna ai vecchi fasti dei giochi Wii. L'inizio è un po' lento, sembra che ci siano poche cose da fare, ma appena ottenuto l'upgrade della stalla con gli animali il gioco si apre e svela punti di viaggio rapidi, nuove città e tante cose da fare. Su switch gira benissimo. Consigliato.
