This is a stellar looking case that's fits very tightly with the phone. Sides could have more grip but you can get over it for the sheer unique look this case has. The magsafe magnets are very strong and do their job well. My only complaint is the stiffness of the buttons. While buttons should have a certain stiffness to prevent unintended activation, these are a bit too stiff and don't have enough travel. The black carbon Fibre patch on the back could have been omitted allowing the wood to shine through. Everyone will be doing double takes to get a good look at your phone. Definite conversation starter. Using iPhone 13 pro max version.

I had an older version of this case, prior to buying this one. Same style, and everything, except it didn;t have the magsafe built into it. I had actually purchased a metal ring, which I stuck on the back of that case, just so I could use the mount in my truck, but that interfered with wireless charging, meaning I had to take the case off at night, when I charged my phone. Then I saw this new version of the case. It has the Magsafe built into it, so no need for the metal ring on the outside of the case. It works with the mount in my truck, and holds firm, and it works with the charger next to my bed, without having to take the case of every night. Not only that, but I love the look of the case. The faux wood grain and carbon fiber look is just what I like, and others may not, but to each their own. It also feels great in my hand. Not too bulky, and has a good texture to it, that easily slides in and out my pocket without getting hung up, but also is grippy enough that I don't feel like it's going to slide out of my hand. The raised edges also keep the screen and cameras from making contact with surfaces, and even though I have dropped my phone several times, I have yet to have any damage to the phone. It's not going to protect from a huge fall, or extreme abuse, but for my purposes, it protects enough. I would definitely buy it again, though hopefully I won't have to. I had the old one over a year, and it still looks almost brand new. I wouldn't have replaced it except that they came up with this better version. Highly recommend.

I've had several phone cases over the years. So I'm fussy. Magnetic strength is great. Wood grain is faux and seems to be a vinyl application. Carbon Fiber and leather seems to be well attached. The pliable material of the case seems like a good choice to absorb impacts. The buttons align well and are working fine. Keep in mind I only received this in mail yesterday and my review is based on less than a 24hr time span. Honestly, I feel like this is over priced based on the materials. Seems to be priced on its looks and marketing value.
