Mini Envelope Punch Board

I love this little mini envelope maker. I also use it to make paper bows, as embellishments on my cards and gift tags, and it makes cute mini file folders as well. When it works, it’s wonderful! However, the first one I owned, broke with no abuse, not too long after I bought it (but after the return period was past. I debated whether to give it another try, and waited several months before giving in and purchasing another one. I am hoping I have better luck this time. I will update this review and lower my stars if the same thing happens again, but for now I am pleased with it!

So fun to make tiny cards. Did not know this was going to become a obsession of mine. But there's something about making a 2x3-in card, and leaving a mini thank you card behind when somebody does something kind for you. In a world that lives on one type of social media or another. Usually something tactile makes people happy. And this is a great use of my scraps. Making envelopes with this tool is so easy. I prefer to use a heavy duty printer paper in colors, but I have used this with cardstock as well up to 110 lb. 110 is not ideal, it is a little too thick for this. I would recommend 65 lb. or less. But the punch can handle 110 at least in my opinion. Not sure about repeated use. The board in the picture is my older of the two. So that's why there's a few scuffs.

I love my little envelopes but I wish this product was a little more solid. Also, the punch is hard to press in a clunky sort of way. Sadly, I feel this thing won't last long.

One star due to item received from seller. Not happy with the description of product. States item was new. Did not come in original package, metal press was apart along with punch portion. This item looked like it had been used as I could see finger prints. I was going to return but instead I glue the punch parts and it works okay. This is not the fault of WRMK, as the item makes cute mini envelopes.

I already had the WRMK standard size envelope punch board, so felt a bit wasteful purchasing this mini, but have already used it more than I ever did the other one... With a small footprint (6-5/8" x 4"), it's easy to keep handy, and great for 'gift wrapping' all kinds of little things to slip inside greeting cards -- $$$, gift cards, postage stamps, etc. As with the original, larger version, paper sizes, and initial scoring measurements are printed directly on the board. The only thing I don't particularly like, is the scoring tool which comes with the board -- too short and clunky, so I just leave it where it sits inside the board,, and use my regular bone folder. FYI: The smallest envelope to be made with this board is 1" x 1", and the largest is 4" x 4", and yes, the in between sizes include rectangulars.

小さいサイズの封筒が作りたくて購入しました。見た目も可愛いし便利です。クラフトパンチのエンベロープとどちらを買うか迷いましたがこちらは数種類のサイズが作れるのでこちらにしました。たくさん活用する予定です。
