Swiffer 180 Dusters Starter Kit Unscented scent, 5 Count (Packaging May Vary)

I was shocked by this. I read the product reviews and though, hey, I might as well give it a try. Here's why I am happy with this product: 1) It does it's job. Swiffer products are supposed to grab the dirt and keep hold of it. My house gets dusty- I have an infant, a toddler, a duck tolling retriever, a cat, a husband, and a wood stove. I don't mind dusting but it takes for. ev. er. I assembled the duster (took me a minute to figure it out, because I didn't look at the directions), and went to down. I was very impressed that I did not see any dust or hair fly up once the duster hit the entertainment center. Or the coffee tables. Or the bookshelf. 2) It's quick. Did you read that I have two kids under two? I don't have a lot of time. I also run two businesses, am starting a blog. I don't have time to clean house. I was able to dust my entire house (2200 sq feet) in about 10 minutes. 3) My toddler can do it, and he finds it fun. I won't lie--- this is the reason why I bought this in the first place. I had big success taking the swiffer floor broom, only using two lengths of it, and making a toddler-sized swiffer. My little moose loves to follow me around when cleaning, while haphazardly cleaning. So I thought, hey! Maybe this will work with a duster. Granted, he doesn't do a great job, but he tries, and finds it enjoyable. So I'll take it as a win. 4) You can get several uses out of the same duster. I change them about once per week- I am exploring washing and reusing, as other reviewers have done. I haven't tried this yet. Cons: assembling takes a minute to work out, but that's what I get for not really reading the directions.

These things are like magic dust eating brushes. I have severe dust allergies and when we dust in my house I usually have to leave the room. After using these swifter dusters I feel like I can actually not only be in the same room as the duster but I can actually dust with this duster. The wonderful thing about this product is that it doesn't just push the dust off the surface, it actually seems to trap the dust inside the soft little materials. The dusters are made to be used and disposed of when they fill up and are covered in dust which takes a while to get to if you keep your dust levels down. If you are dusting seriously heavy areas than you will probably have to go through these things a little quicker than others. I reccomend these to people who have allergies to dust and need something that doesn't just make the dust particles air borne or anyone looking for an alternative to feather dusters and paper towels with sprays. These things work, period.

These things work as advertised. inexpensive, picks up dust quickly and pretty thoroughly. Bought for my office which has a lot of dust collecting stuff in it. takes 2 minutes to shine it u with this thing.

I hated buying these, just because I hate spending money on something I have to use refills with so I normally would use a feather duster or rag I can keep on using. But, after seeing a really good deal on them I decided I'd give them a try and I was pretty surprised by how well they did work, much better than my duster or a rag so now I get why people buy these. Instead of normal dusting where you dust and the dust flies all over, the dust actually sticks to this and that really makes it worth it to buy. These come flat and you fluff it up to dust. The dust clings as they show in commercials and even dusting a super dusty ceiling fan it didn't spread the dust all over, it clung to the duster. I also found it good for wiping cat hair off the couch. The hair clung to it and so did other little particles on the couch. The only negative thing is that the cover did slide off of the handle on me twice while I was dusting, thankfully not while doing the ceiling fan, but I was brushing it a bit harder over a surface and the cover slid off. Just slide it back on but I do wish there was a way they could make them so that it stays on a bit tighter. I will still continue to purchase these now, even though I hate things I have to refill. They simply work so much better and are cleaner than rags or feather dusters.

Coming from someone who used to spray and wipe down everything every time I "dusted" the furniture, these disposable dusters have made my life so much easier. They are a great way to keep down dust in between more thorough cleanings, They are extremely efficient in removing dust, especially off of more delicate items that you prefer not to spray with chemical or have difficulty reaching. The duster is light blue and white, so once I see that the fabric has darkened with enough dust/dirt, I simply throw it out and slip another one on to the plastic handle. I started using these to clean my home after a year-long remodel with drywall, paint and construction dust everywhere. I used these first to collect the dust off of furniture, shelving and boxes before wiping them down with a spray cleaning product. They work like a magnet on dust! I simply love these!

I love these things. I don't know if they work any better than a normal duster, but I do know that they get all of the dust when I use them and I don't see if flying around as I clean so it seems to be sucking it up and holding onto it. They are easy to use, convenient and not too badly priced. They seem to get dirty pretty quick, but they keep working even after they show dirt so don't throw them away just because you picked up a little dirt and they look grayish.

My Swiffer starter kit arrived actually 3 days earlier than what was expected, no complaints about that here! I started using it right off to clean the ceiling fans and it did the job just as easily and wonderfully as you would expect it too. Very happy about this purchase!!

I use these for my black entertainment center and electronics! Easily cleans up the dust! I will buy these again!

The best dusters I have found. They pick up the dust, they hold the dust, and the disposable wiper carries the dust into the bin. I do feel guilty that they are disposable.

these work very well but a pity they are not washable

Love this dusting kit good for getting rid of spider webs, it can reach into places that is hard for normal duster to reach and it picks up dogs hair. It is easy to carrying around and so light to used.
