I used this to proactively patch worn areas and retroactively patch holes in a ski and snowboard bag that was handled with the normal care during air travel. While I've yet to travel with it, I noticed the following. First I ordered the black color, and it matched the color of my ski bag nicely. It's there, but it doesn't stand out. It was very easy to cut to the right size and shape, and once I had it that way, I was able to stick it right onto the bag. It appears to adhere nicely, but I'll have to see if it holds up on the next trip. It worked so well with the bag I planned to use it on that I decided to look at another rolling duffle to fix it. That seemed to work pretty well too, and again I'm looking to see if holds on the next trip. It seems pretty versatile, and I'm thinking I can use this for lots of other quick patches on many items going forward. The price was very fair for the amount of product, and I'm hoping to continue using it on a variety of items that get holes in the future. I don't know if it's waterproof or water resistant yet, but I suppose I'll likely see that too on the next ski trip. Even if it's not, I didn't really get it for that. I got it to patch holes and be abrasion resistant. Based on the texture, I'm thinking it should do that just fine.

Bought to use on boat cover where sharp edges were going to put hole in it. Used to reinforce these areas. Easy to install and great quality product.

I picked up KING MOUNTAIN Canvas Repair Tape after a tear showed up in the canopy of my pop-up tent, and I have to say—it’s one of those products that actually does what it claims. First off, the adhesive is seriously strong. I cleaned and dried the fabric, applied the tape, pressed it down firmly, and let it sit overnight. The next day, it felt like part of the original material. I’ve since taken the tent out in wind and light rain, and the patch hasn’t lifted or peeled at all. What I really liked is how well it blends in. I used the beige color on a canvas-style fabric, and from a short distance you can barely notice it. It’s not completely invisible, but it looks clean and intentional—not like a sloppy fix. Application was straightforward. The tape cuts easily with scissors, and it’s flexible enough to conform to seams and slightly uneven surfaces. Just make sure you apply it carefully the first time—once it sticks, it really sticks. A couple of minor downsides: if you’re trying to repair something under heavy tension (like a stretched seam), you may want to reinforce both sides for extra durability. Also, it’s not ideal for super thin fabrics—it might feel a bit stiff in those cases.

Durable, and long lasting. Only critique is that the color fades quickly on outdoor fabrics that are exposed to sunlight. Blends in well, very sticky, little to no leakage and works well. Highly recommend it for practical and economic repairs

This product did a fantastic job of repairing my boat cover! Super sticky adhesive and seems to be holding up to Florida wind and rain so far. If you have a hole or rip in your boat cover I'd give this product heavy consideration

Great product and must have if you have outdoor umbrellas! Color worked perfect with our beige fabric umbrellas. Was able to repair the hole and weak spots that were created from being exposed to the sun. Saved our umbrellas from ripping further! Great price too, going to buy more and reinforce so other weak spots.

Exactly what I needed to repair a stadium seat that’s probably nearing 20 yrs old & my favorite. I’ve been unable to find another like it and the poles had worn through. This sealed them up perfectly & feels strong enough for many uses. Hope to get many more years out of it now. Worth every penny.

King Mountain canvas tape is great. Repaired boat canvas and it done a great job. Put a patch on the top and underneath and it strong as before. Happy with the product.

We used the tape to repair wear points in our camper trailer canvas. Works well, doesn't leak, simple to apply. We bought the grey colour and you can barely see it against the original material. Great product, will use again if needed.

I’m quite happy that this canvas repair tape has held quite well, but it definitely does not hold its colour. Within a couple of weeks, it went from grey to pink. Not durable at all in terms of colour.
