As a Lego fan, I've bought several Lego motor sets but this is definitely the most fun, the parts are complete and fulfill all my creative needs. Good enough quality, no complaints. The train motor was an unexpected surprise, the wheels and axle come with it, and once assembled you can control it with a remote. I often use it to tease my kitten, it's very funny! The parts kit included small screwdrivers, which helped me open the battery case more easily, which is commendable! The instructions are detailed, but you need to create them through your imagination rather than relying on the instructions. The packaging is beautiful and would make a great gift!

This fit perfectly with a Lego build, and I can't wait to use more of the set! Checked every part when I first got it, and all parts work well. My first power function type motors, and I'll likely be buying another set very soon. 5 out of 5 stars, especially considering official Lego parts would be $140-$150+.

It takes 5 turns in one direction for the controller to turn one of the connected motors. Then 10 turns the other direction to reverse that motor. I don't understand on any level why you would make a controller this unresponsive. This makes it completely impractical to use. The whole point of the controller is to have the ability to change the direction of the motors and it is laughably bad at it. If you want your motor to go in one direction then you can just set that with the battery pack. I bought this for a lego car that I wanted to use like an RC car. This kit can't do that.

My boys were so excited to finally have this kit for Christmas to use with their legos. Everything seemed to be fine until we opened one of the power units and the white wire fell out. It wasn’t connected and the red one seemed to be pretty loose as well. I still gave 3 stars because everything else was fine, including packaging but it did kind of suck to have one of the power units not be usable. Edit: I want to commend this seller on providing excellent and prompt customer service. They tried to send a replacement but since they weren’t able to, I was able to get a refund. I appreciate their prompt response and willingness to rectify the situation.

I won't go into too much details. I have only tested this set a little. This is a generic brand version of the optional add on pieces to make your Technic style building brick set able to be remote controlled. Everything that is needed and then some. Not sure about all the pieces yet, may not be able to test some of these because of not having the type they go into. Remote works just fine, only a little lag and not as long distance for transmission. I normally only showcase my builds but this really helps make these items more enjoyable. Have kids coming over, let them play with your building brick set build by taking the unit outside and let them play. This may inspire more people to get into this hobby.

Worth the money spent. My kid loves making stuff with motor set. Remote control could be improved more but still nice overall set

I've recently gotten in the Lego, mainly for the Technic aspect. So figured I've give this one a try. The parts are about the same quality as another set I have, good enough quality, no complaints. Also like how many parts you get, pretty much everything you need to dabble with technic. A complete kit. My issue is the lack of instructions. There is a booklet in the set and I thought it was instructions, but it is not. The booklet just has pictures of the parts, it does not tell you anything. I can get the same information form this page. Disappointed to say the least. As an example, there is a second, brick like battery box and I've never used one, so I had NO clue how it even opens. I had to search the tubes to find out how it opens. This company should show you this and really more would be good. The other thing, the "brick" battery box I just talked about is not the same as they show in the pictures. The one they show has a separate power button, like the genuine unit from Lego. So in reality, you do not get exactly as they show. This box works just fine, but I don't like when you get something different from what they show. It's not right. It's a minor thing, but it's the principle.

Loved the product. Built quality looks good. My 7 year old kid loves to experiment with it. Will try to motorise one of the lego compatible sets which I bought from somewhere else.
