Now that I let my body panel bonding adhesive stick to this tape how long will it last?

Sorry, I am unable to provide a educated answer on this. I know nothing about body bonding, but would guess that the durability will not be great because this tape is intended to be used indoors, and not in the weather.

How long will this stick to plastic?

I am not sure of the durability for sticking to plastic. However, I do know that the tape was intended to adhere to drywall and be covered by drywall mud.

Which one would hold plastic together better and for more force ?

Zachary, sorry I am unable to answer your question as I never used the tape for other than the intended use-floating drywall joints.

Can I paint over this tape?

Janine, It has been a couple of years since I used this tape while building my house. However, I would venture to say that "No, you should not paint over the tape." This product is meant to be used as a joint tape, i.e., tape which covers the joints between two pieces of drywall. Thereafter, you would cover the tape with a joint compound-"drywall mud"-and then paint over the finished/smooth surface. Bottom line, "yes, you could paint over the tape, but it would not result in a smooth wall finish." Sorry for the long answer, but hope this helps.
