My boys wore putty buddies for years with the head band. They are older now and dont like the headband. These work great. They stayed in and didnt let water in! Id buy again!

Multiple sizes which help, stay put, easy to use and very effective.

I like the three different color options. They are very soft and almost mold to your ear. These items are very effective as I don't get water in my ears anymore and they are portable for easy travel. They could cause slight noise cancellation, so be careful out in the water. Sometimes, they fall out of my ear if my jumping into the water, so keep eye on them.

My son loves to go under water but unfortunately he had frequent ear infections. Even after having ear-tubes playing in the pool for a long time resulted in visits at the pediatrician and antibiotics. We realized he hesitated to go in the pool because he feared the ear ache later. We tried other ear plugs that came with the goggles but in average they lasted 2 minutes in his ears and we spent more time looking for them than with actual fun. This thing has not come out of his ears once. In the past 3 weeks he spent at least an hour each day in the pool like a little fish and no ear ache in sight. He does not complain about how it feels, it does not bother him. We are very grateful for this product.

We’ve tried the gummy-style swimming ear plugs before, and overall I prefer these WaterDam ear plugs. They stay in better than the gummy ones, but they are definitely not foolproof. They still occasionally fall out on their own while swimming, and if you have a toddler who likes to pull them out, your odds of keeping a complete set go down even further!In fact, if you’re buying these for a toddler, I would plan on bringing an entire 3-pack for a single lake trip because YOU WILL LOSE THEM. Somehow, we managed to lose only right ear plugs. Since the left and right plugs are different and can’t be mixed and matched, we came home with several lonely left ears.My other complaint is the instructions. The instructions included with the product aren’t very helpful. There are better instructions available online, but when you’re standing at the lake trying to put them in, you may not have good enough service to pull those up. I really wish the more detailed instructions were included in the package.The case for these is nice - as they would easily get lost in your pool/lake bag with out them. Plus, it keeps them nice and dry which is important for this product.Despite those frustrations, these have worked better for us than gummy ear plugs, which tended to fall out even more frequently. I’d buy them again, because we absolutely need them for our daughter with ear tubes. But I’d go into it knowing that you will lose some —and I’d absolutely pack plenty of extras.

Ordered the 1+1a for our 23 month old. The 1A was perfect for her. She was able to float around at the lake and splash around. Only had to readjust a few times but they definitely worked better than the silicone ball ones you have to jam in their ear. Definitely worth the $13 for them. And if they fall out, they float!

So I bought these 5 years ago for my eldest granddaughter but never used them. It was eiither because her ear stopped hurting or she didn't want to put them on...can't remember. Hence to now, my youngest granddaughter, 5 years old, just got over swimmer's ear so I found these in my closet and tried them. I also bought the head band to go over them so they wouldn't fall out. Well...she took the headband off right away but these plugs stayed in her ear the entire time in the pool. She didn't adjust them, she didn't have a hard time hearing us, AND they were comfortable. Come with cute cases so they have a better chance of not getting lost. I felt obligated to leave this review 5 years later.

My 3.5yo HATES getting her hair washed. She screams that the water hurts her ears (but has absolutely no issue swimming in the pool, completely under the water). We think she doesn't like the "trickle" sensation of the water on her head and in her ears, so I wanted to try blocking them with these.Worked amazing. Such a relief to not wash the hair of an actively bucking bronco. The 1a size fit great (toddler on the smaller side of the chart).

Once we found the right size these worked well in protecting the ear from water during swimming. This was necessary following grommet surgery. Used in conjunction with a headband which may have helped keep them in. Better than the moldable ones. Used multiple times and have lasted well.

I can now enjoy my swimming without getting water logged ears. These earplugs come in a neat little carry case, are easy to fit and remove and keep that pesky sea and pool water out of my ears. Highly recommended.
