Stops the itching from bug bites right away
I live in the tropics and constantly getting bit by mosquitoes and no see ums (gnats). I put some of this balm on and it started working right away. It’s compact enough to put in your pocket. It works great.

I'm rarely moved enough to review anything, but I freaking love this stuff. I spend hours outdoors every day during warm weather and with that comes the dang bugs. I used to have anywhere from 5-10 ongoing welts where I've damaged the skin with constant scratching. I am not even kidding when I say a few swipes of this stuff is the difference in forgetting the bite in ten minutes or days of itching. It's a lovely pocket-size container that is both durable and has a nifty lip on the lid that lets you press to open instead of trying to pry it apart. I also enjoy the very faint herbal scent.

While it is not a repellant, it works very effectively to soothe mosquito and other insect bites. I bought the 3-pack in order to gift the extras!

Bug bite relief
Small amount in a small tin container. It smells nice and feels good. It works fine for a bug bite relief. It is a little difficult to open, but if you press to open on the lid, it will open enough so you can use it.

Great Alternative to other options
This is a great salve. My kids ask for this when they have a bug bite. The bugs love my daughter and we are constantly needing to treat her bites. This keeps my mind at ease knowing not as many chemicals are always being absorbed in her skin.

Annoying to open
Great product, terrible tin design. You have to push the top down to open. While pulling the lid off. In the off chance I get to use it because I haven't given up on opening it, all I am really left with is frustration. Will be going back to by regular balm.
