PTFE was never intended for 200ยฐC+ temperatures
Please ignore the 1 star review on this item, every PTFE magnetic stir bar will warp and eventually melt starting at around 200ยฐC, one should use porcelain boiling chips if needing to reach such high temperatures or use a strong vacuum if distilling liquids that boil at very high temperatures. I've lost a number of PTFE stirrers before realizing they cannot take such high temperatures without at least warping.

Garbage! All demagnetized after first use
These should be sold with the note that they CAN NOT be heated above 100 centigrade without losing their magnetism. Utter garbage sold on Amazon under the guise of being "lab equipment".

Not worth it
Stick to the typical long-pill-shaped cylindrical stirrers. These do not stay put at high RPM.

Not for high temperatures โ 200C
These stir bars melted in my boiling flask at a pretty low temp. Very disappointing
