Purchase this for my 10-year-old son because he wanted to practice and he loved it. It is not sharp if it’s not like a real knife it feels like a real knife but it’s not sharp or anything. I feel that it is safe for a supervised child of course you can get hurt with anything, but this knife is not sharp.

Great gift idea for teenage boys. Feels sturdy but not heavy. Grips well. Fun for keeping their hands busy and learning tricks.

When I first got it, the joints were a little bit stiff on one side, but after enough flipping, it does loosen up. The build quality is really nice, and the design is nice and tactile. The flipping works perfectly, and the blade is completely dull, so it is perfectly safe for practice. It functions perfectly, and for the price, it is definitely a steal!

My 12 year old asked for this. He picked out the one he wanted. Great price. It’s not sharp at all. I tried it myself and it’s kinda fun. Swings around as it should with a pin to lock handles when not in use. He likes to watch YouTube videos to learn spinning tricks with it. Be sure to wear shoes when playing with it or you’ll end up with hurt toes. The only complaint I have and this is directed more towards Amazon. I ordered this on a Wednesday and my bank wasn’t charged until Sunday. We received it that Monday. Wish Amazon would take the money as soon as item is ordered. Seems to happen a lot.

It’s easy to use, surprisingly high-quality for a trainer knife that’s under $10 so the value you’re getting for this is just insane. It’s smooth right out of the box. I already dropped it a few times and there’s no sign of it getting looser or anything, so it’s pretty durable overall. One thing I notice though is the left handle, the one with the locking metal on the bottom, is a bit heavier than the right handle. I find it easier to do tricks with the left handle, so just keep in mind that the handles might make or break your tricks! Weight distribution overall feels very good. 10/10 for a cheap knife!

Fun little flippy floppy training butterfly knife. Amazon doesn't seem to allow sharp blades on butterfly knives, but if you want a trainer this is great. Dirt cheap and feels nice. Weight ballance is perfect for me, it's easy to use, and it seems like all the components fit snug with nothing lose. (P.S, The screws are tight since the review bar is trying to get me to answer that question)

Deserves 0 stars but that is not one of the options available. Complete garbage. The screws came out within a few minutes on the first day of using it. Normal usage. Nothing crazy or excessive. Just normal use. Would not recommend

Its cheap but yes it does act as a trainer. Very loose, slippery grip and difficult to do basic tricks. Fine for learning basic opens and if you want a little fidget toy. Honestly you are better off just saving the money and putting towards something like the nabalis canyon which feels like a true balisong.
