Can this clock be used in a conservatory

Its a plastic surround... I wouldn't recommend putting it in a South facing conservatory as the heat in Summer could melt it..

It’s metal with a painted finish to look a bit like wood. The paint is a plastic looking which is what probably causes the confusion.

Is this clock kept to correct time by radio control

This is not radio-controlled clock. BTW - it did not keep correct time and I had to send it back.
