This lamp is perfect for my needs in a cramped space. Not only does it look fantastic, the shade is also metal—not the plastic one might expect at this price point. Unlike other reviewers, I had no problem with the base seeming easily tipped, even on warped and bowed 150 year old wooden floors. Note: If you’ve never had an arched floor lamp with decent reach, they all bob up and down if you bump against them. If you have toddlers or med-lg dogs running around, this might not be the lamp for you. If bumped hard enough, it will tip over (as will most floor lamps). All told, the remote is a wonderful and convenient option, and truth be told, I generally loathe remotes. This is easy to pair and use, as well as having really useful settings and non-cryptic symbols. The best part is it attaches to the lamp via magnet, so it’s hard to lose. Assembly directions are easy to follow and have a couple good tips, too. The mfg was even thoughtful enough to include a spare lock screw for where the curved portions join. (If you’ve ever tried finding the right sized replacement for one, you’ll know why this is a big deal!) Assembly was easy and quick. Two tips: 1. When attaching bottom portion to base, turn the base not the pole. That way the wire doesn’t get all twisted. 2. When trying to join the curved pieces, do it on a rug or towel on a flat surface. It’s much easier to get the perfect curve and lock it in place. (The bulb fixture does rotate as stated, so simply turn and tilt it until it lies flat. Overall best features: -Well machined poles fit perfectly and don’t exhibit annoying seams or overhang. -Nice bright light! 9 watt LED with truly useful 3000-6000 K presets on the remote. (As an artist, this is invaluable.) -Sturdy but slim in design. The classic shade shape is great with many decor schemes. -The inside of the shade is toned in a muted brass. I didn’t think I’d like this, but upon seeing the light both on and off, that color definitely gives the lamp and the light it casts a far warmer and friendlier feel. Details matter. Recommendation: BUY THIS LAMP! It’s a great, no-clutter piece with lighting options you’ll actually use on a remote you won’t lose. You won’t regret this purchase.

I LOVE this lamp! It’s pleasing to look at, the convenience of the remote is wonderful, and the light/warmth (adjustable) is exactly what I want and need in a lamp. It doesn’t look cheap nor does it feel cheap. It’s very sturdy! The gold inside of the rim is a nice touch.

Just what I needed. I like the remote that does multiple duty. I like that the light can be directed to an area over my desk and not disturb anyone watching TV in the adjacent room. Well made and easy to assemble.

Very sturdy, nice looking floor lamp. I love that the neck/body of the lamp and the head of the lamp are fully adjustable. This lamp looks expensive. I also love that it’s dark black on the outside and gold on the inside of the lamp. Other lamps I looked at were white on the inside. The muted gold is warm and rich looking. One surprising feature that I did not think I would even use is the remote. But it’s much easier to use the remote to adjust the lighting instead of trying to reach down and touch the switch on the cord. I only gave it four stars because of its very large round base. I’m sure the weight of the base is necessary to keep the lamp upright, but it would have been nice if the large base were triangular so that it could more easily fit into the corner and take up less space. Just know that you might have to move your furnishings around to accommodate for such a large base. In my case, it interferes with the back leg of the couch. Otherwise… super awesome lamp. Love it!

I like this lamp a lot. The base is super heavy, so it is in no danger of tipping over. It looks great, and is bright. You have to be careful screwing the pieces together, they are heavy and it's easy to misalign the threads. I put on my rubber kitchen gloves to give myself a better grip on the pieces because they are slick. I also had someone help hold the last couple of parts steady to make it easier to line up the threads correctly. Some reviews mentioned problems with the remote. The remote controls the smart bulb that comes with the lamp. It doesn't control the lamp. If it stops working, you need a new smart bulb and remote set. They are sold together. Or you can just get a dumb bulb and put in it, but then you won't have a remote.

Love this lamp and will get another one soon for the other corner of my living room. Bright, fairly easy to assemble, and puts a beautiful focused light right where I want it to work on handcrafted items without putting a glare on the TV. One and only thing I can say negative is that the magnet in the remote isn’t strong enough to actually hold the remote to the lamp. That being said, the remote wasn’t a key feature for me, but something to think about.

It’s pretty and I love the multiple light options. However it’s not the best quality. It sort of leans to one side.

Beautiful lamp. Looks so much more expensive than it was. Great value for the price. Love the bulb being included. So easy to put together. The height is great. I feel like it’s sturdy and balanced well. Love the adjustable light temps. The remote being magnetic is fabulous and will be definitely a favorite feature for a long time. Plus the floor foot pedal. It really is an incredible deal for the price.

The bronze and gold on the inside looks great. Base is weighted and stable. But more importantly the company has amazing customer care. There was a minor issue with the remote that they resolved right away. They asked couple of questions to identify the issue and troubleshoot it and when the fix did not work they sent out a replacement right away. You can order this product with confidence knowing that the company is standing by their product.
