Super well built EDC light from Wurkkos at a great price
Been grabbing a few lights to give as gifts this Christmas and keep going back to Wurkkos. High build quality, very nice price, and their lights have been very reliable based on my experience. I'm kinda weak with the flashlight nerd jargon, so I'll stick to normal people words. Just an FYI, I primarily use flashlights as a technician, for basic EDC tasks, household & vehicle repairs, and of course emergency backup. Some camping thrown in, but not specifically as an outdoor tool. I prefer lights with non-proprietary charging, simple operation, and I especially want replaceable cells. That being said, this light ticks those boxes and looks like a winner. Planned on gifting it to one of my students, but I might keep this and gift one of my other lights. Dunno yet. Build quality is typical of Wurkkos, meaning good to very good fit and finish. Aluminum is pretty thick and feel substantial, texture/grooves are deep and solid feeling. Not likely to have this slip out of hand. First impression of the anodization is that it's high quality. Didn't go at it with a knife or anything, but simple handling and disassembly didn't result in scratches, so that's a plus. Tail button feels solid, both in terms of the switch itself and the rubber cover. Can't speak to long term durability of the light since I just got this, but I've been happy with Wurkkos lights in the past and there are no red flags here. Don't know who Wurkkos gets their batteries from, but my experience is that they're pretty good quality 18650 cells in terms of output, capacity, and longevity. This one looks identical to the other ones I have so I expect the same. Button top cell included and I slipped in a flat top and it worked fine as well. On-board USB-C is nice and the cover fits over the port solidly. Built-in LED battery level indicator is a nice to have feature. Light color is very white. This is my preference. Don't like lights with on overly yellow or blue tint. Four of the five light levels plus "Turbo" are distinct enough that they're all useful. Two in the middle are basically the same. UI is straightforward, just click to turn on or off, half clicks to cycle through levels and a double half click to go into strobe. That last one is a little fiddly, but I almost never use strobe, so there's that. Beam pattern is more spot than flood. Spot is about 2' wide about 10 feet out with a lot of spill outward. This meshes with how I work so that's nice. Pocket clip is a pocket clip and the middle portion of the light can be unscrewed and flipped around if you want the clip pointed the other way. Overall a good to very good light, full stop. Factoring in the price at $20 and it veers towards a great EDC light. Might find something as good in this price range, but I doubt you'll find anything better

1 Month of EDC: Simple Tail Switch, Slim Profile, and Zero Frills
I purchased the Wurkkos TD02 about a month ago, and it has immediately integrated into my everyday carry rotation. If you want a dependable, pocket-friendly light that skips complicated multi-button setups and just works every time you click it, this is an easy recommendation. 1. Everyday Usability & The Switch The best feature is how intuitive it is. The tail switch handles everything cleanly: No Button Hunting: In total darkness or while wearing work gloves, you never have to rotate the light in your hand to find a flush side-switch. Your thumb finds the tail cap immediately. Mode Memory: It turns back on to your last-used brightness setting, which saves your night vision from accidental blinding bursts when you just need low light. 2. Pocket Footprint & Clip It strikes the sweet spot for an 18650 light. It is noticeably slimmer and lighter than 21700-style work lights, meaning it clips inside a front jeans pocket without weighing your pants down or catching on car seat bolsters. The deep-carry clip retains solid tension and hasn't bent out of shape. 3. Output & Charging The 2000-lumen top end produces a broad, clean beam that easily lights up an entire backyard or dark alleyway. For daily tasks, the mid levels are well-balanced and don't overheat quickly. Recharging via the built-in USB-C port is straightforward and eliminates the hassle of carrying a standalone battery cradle. Pros: Simple UI: One responsive tail switch handles all functions. Slim EDC Form Factor: Minimal bulk in the pocket. Bright, Clean Beam: Plenty of flood with enough throw for utility use. Great Price Point: Outstanding build quality for just over $30. Cons: Head Heat on Turbo: Like any compact light pushing 2000 lumens, the head will heat up if run on top brightness for long stretches, but the stepdown manages it well. A month of daily use has proven this to be one of the most reliable and fuss-free EDC lights in its price bracket. Simple controls, great output, and hassle-free charging make it an easy 5 stars.

Budget Powerhouse: Wurkkos TD02 LED Flashlight
I recently evaluated the Wurkkos TD02 LED Flashlight, and it exceeded my expectations. Despite its affordable price, this flashlight packs a punch. The brightness in Turbo does not appear to meet the claimed lumens, but it is still quite bright. However, the run times exceeded the advertised claims by at least 20%-35%, and the stepdowns in brightness are on par with comparable flashlights. The Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens paired with the Luminus SST40 LED provides impressive brightness. A hardened glass lens cover protects the SST40, and the body is made using heat-treated aluminum alloy for long-term strength. The included 3000mAh Li-ion 18650 rechargeable battery is efficient, and the Type-C USB charging is convenient with a secure rubber plug. The onboard charging rate measured was around 1.5A, with charging terminating around 4.18V (± 0.02V). The light's User Interface (UI) is simple to use, with a rear tactical switch controlling all six modes (including strobe) plus mode memory to power on the light in the same mode it was last used. The knurling on the tube offers a secure grip; however, the clip is just the standard single-direction type. I would have liked to see it come with a reversible hat-belt clip. The light's build quality is excellent, having an IPX8 rating, made from 6061-grade aluminum alloy, and the rear battery cap is easy to remove to swap out batteries if needed. However, unlike the TD03 and TD04, which have a momentary switch in the tail cap, the TD02 just features mode changes and on/off functions. Overall, the Wurkkos TD02 is an impressive budget light that delivers exceptional performance. It would surely be a great addition to anyone's flashlight arsenal. --- Wurkkos TD02 Led Flashlight, Super Bright Pocket Flashlights Rechargeable,High Lumens Tactical Flashlight EDC Flash Light with Type C Charging Port Tail Switch for Outdoor and Indoor Activities ASIN: B0C9LNZTT4

For the money, it's hard to beat
Very compact not bulky at all. Provides light for anything. I take it anywhere and use it for anything. The power modes are usable amd impressive. Having 2000 lumens on tap is needed. The first all around flash light I like. It's made well to last a long time.

Tactical features and useful brightness for a reasonable price
The TD02 is designed to be used in an overhand grip and has a tail switch for thumb operation and ridging along the sides for maximum grip. It's a convenient size to fit in a pocket or bag, and has a sturdy clip and reversible barrel. The UI is straightforward -- you click to turn it on, or tap on the switch to change brightness. Two taps puts it in a strobe mode that is meant to disorient would-be attackers. While there are brighter lights, between 1000lm and 2000lm is all you'll reasonably need for most use cases. At its brightest, this lit up my backyard. For up-close tasks, there are several stepped brightness levels. All of my Wurkkos lights are high-quality and have a great finish. The threads on the end caps are clean, and each end has a lubricated O-ring. The barrel in the middle is reversible so the light can be attached to a hat brim and used as a headlight. The weight is similar to my other lights, as most of the heft comes from the 18650 battery. USB-C charging is a huge plus for this light, as 18650 batteries require special chargers. I own a charger, and checked the voltage on the battery, and saw that it was shipped charged. All of my Wurkkos lights' batteries are high quality. Wurkkos lights are always a great value, and each one fits a useful niche. This is a really excellent EDC-sized light with tactical features.

Great compact and strong flashlight
Great flashlight. Form factor is great and it feels very well made. The battery lasts as long as I need it too also. If you're like me and put stuff down where it doesn't belong it is easy to lose being it's so small, but that's not something I'm going to take a star away for.

Quality for not a lot of money
Hands down one of the best bang for buck flashlights I’ve ever owned. It is amazing, no lie just as good as a pocket streamlight I bought years back. Possibly better. Great battery life and it recharges. Solid performance.

Bright compact EDC light
This Wurkkos TD02 light hits the sweet spot with its size-to-output ratio. It is a well-made, rechargeable light that is very bright with multiple output levels, while also being nice and compact. It comes with a Wurkkos 18650 battery, plus you can swap it out with your own 18650s if you choose. The light has a built-in charging port on the flashlight head via a Type-C cable, and Wurkkos includes that cable if you don't already have one. A lanyard is also included. As for the tint, mine is definitely cool 6500k, if not 6700k, but I'm good with that; I prefer cool. The only thing I don't care for is the strobe function it should not be there. It's too easily activated. When the light is on, to change output levels, say for example from low to high, you tap the rear switch twice. But if you tap too fast, you activate the strobe, and I always tap too fast. The strobe is activated by double tapping the rear switch when the light is on. It just so happens you also need to tap two or three times to get to the output level you're looking for, sometimes two or even three taps from low to Turbo. If you tap too quickly, you access the strobe. It has a memory mode, so it turns on with the last output mode you used. I would love to have this same light without the strobe, or at least make the strobe far more difficult to mistakenly activate. Having said that, I still highly recommend this light. It's well-made, very bright with good low modes, and has a built in charger and included battery for a fair price.
