Taste as expected and arrived quickly. I do love a candied orange peel.

This was really horrible. It had a nasty chalky taste and texture, like the taste in your mouth after chewing a pepto bismal

This was an experiment to see how they’d taste as Negroni garnish instead of fresh orange slice. It’s really terrific. I expect they’d also taste great in a cosmo or manhattan or whiskey sour.

Definitely would be better with crystallized sugar. The powdered sugar looks, feels and takes mostly powdery. I don't mind it being less sweet but that just leaves a mostly tasteless powdered covered orange peel. I would also have liked the peel to have been a little more dried, its a little softer on the bite than I would like. In the time that I wrote this I have a very strange aftertaste throughout my entire mouth, mainly my tongue.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent order of Perle di Sole Candied Orange Peel. While I rarely leave negative feedback, I found the quality of this specific product to be unsatisfactory. I had intended to use them in recipes such as biscotti cookies and Persian rice, but my husband and I ultimately agreed that we needed to throw them out due to the taste. We almost never discard food, so this decision reflects our strong dissatisfaction. I cannot even describe the taste other than eating a raw orange rind. Perhaps it would have been good in cocktails but not as a food item.

The items were delivered promptly, very fresh and delicious! A great ingredient to my tropica fruitcakes!
