These are the best lights I've ever had, not even exaggerating. I only wish I'd bought the sunrise/sunset timer too, and plan to purchase one ASAP but as for the light function itselfーyou can't go wrong. Installation os easy, you'll need no instructions for effortless lighting on your flock. The lights are bright and strong, with one 8'' light bar capable of adequately lighting a 30'' flight cage. Cords are minimal and manageable, with extra thick coating for parrot-proofing if you allow free flight time out of the cage. The light covers are easily cleaned, just wipe them down with a damp cloth or lysol wipe. Because these lights are linkable, you can expand with ease as well, which is great if you have a habit of acquiring birds in a rescue setting where the amount of birds is constantly fluctuating. 100% highly recommending buying the bundles. You need the timer and power supply. Even if you don't think you may, trust me when I say you should make sure you have the appropriate adapter and that light timer. I'm super duper looking forward to getting my timer as I'm exceptionally pleased with the make and quality of these lights. As a side note, I've had birds for 30+ years and have tried every kind of cage light, floor light and tube light you can imagine but this set up is all you need!

I inherited some of my Mama's birds and she never had lights with them in the past. My sister inherited a different birds and read that they need light in a natural setting. She purchased the small one and loved it so I purchased two of the larger ones (I have a 3'x3'x4' cage). It was a little tricky setting up the timer as the instructions were vague, but I conquered that issue relatively quickly. The light is quite bright, the birds are noticeably happier, and I absolutely love the dawn and dusk feature; it provides real life lighting for the birds. It's about 15 minutes before the time you set for dusk and it mimics what a sunset would be. The dawn starts when you have it set to turn on and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the full lighting. This is a fantastic item. I've had it for almost a year and no issues whatsoever. In fact, if you have to transfer it to another location, all of your settings remain the same so there is no reset necessary. A fantastic item.

I bought this to pair with my stand alone M&M Cage Company 10" hookbill light. I was not sure if it would be compatible with this one, so I contacted the chat on the customer service page. Customer service was great and answered all my questions. Once I got the item, I plugged it in and it worked flawlessly. I like these lights and have been using them on a timer to simulate daylight, and my birds seem to respond well to them.

These lights are just perfect for a stacked breeder set up. They are the perfect size, so easy to install, and look very neat and tidy. The lights can either be placed on top of the cage or placed inside the cage and clipped to the top with the provided clips. I was nervous this would be confusing to set up, but it is really easy. All you need in addition to this is the power supply. I have purchased a light from this company before and can attest to their durability. I have one several years old that is still working great.

This is the second time I have ordered these lights for my cages I now have a total of 18 of them. My birds seem to be fine with them with winter months and me having small birds that can't take below zero temps I needed something to give them light when they can't be outside and these have worked great I love the timer they have also making it so I don't have to turn the lights on and off. Great product..

Poor quality. High failure rate. In 6 months ive gone thru 4 lights and 2 controllers. Not worth the purchase. The idea is great but the poor quality leaves you scrambling once you realize your birds won't have lights. I do not recommend

I have bought three of these lights for my birds and am extremely pleased with the quality of the product. I like that the light is full spectrum, provides decent coverage of cage (depending on size of cage and light you buy) and the casing does not heat up. These two things I think are the most important features as it makes them safe to use and they provide the birds with the proper spectrum of light that birds need. I do like that the lights can be joined together. This is handy if you have a large cage. While I don't mind that the lights come without a power supply, I do wish that the seller offered them as an add on, giving the buyer the convenience of having to source one else where.

This light is perfect and so bright.. Just remember to buy the power source if it’s being use on it own. I love it and with all on a timer they are amazing..
