Wagner Control Spray 250

I used it to stain about 2,000 sq ft of fence (huge fence) with a water-based polymer-forming paint, and it was a piece of cake. It was listed as for use with small jobs, so I was worried a little because this was a definitely a big job, but it did great. What would normally take weeks took a couple of days with this wonderful sprayer. I could cover a relatively large area (200 sq ft or so) quite well with a quart of paint that it takes at a time. I had another one that wasn't that good (used/wasted too much paint and when starting spraying, it sprayed too much paint unevenly). This one doesn't have this problem. The coat is even, can cover decent area, can be used for vertical or horizontal spraying, and it's relatively easy to clean (easier than the other one). Negatives: the nozzle gets clogged when the paint has time to polymerize, but the partially solidified paint is easily pulled off of the nozzle - doesn't stick to it. I haven't tried it with oil-based paints/stains, so I cannot comment on it, though it should also work with them. Overall, highly recommended

I had power washed my deck intending to reseal next day after drying. I then went to local store and bought deck sealer and new garden sprayer which is recommended by sealer company. About noon the next day after deck dried, I attempted to use sprayer. Sealer would only come out in a stream no matter which nozzle I used. Took it back, they verified it was defective at the store and gave me a replacement supposedly an "upgrade". Same thing. I pulled up Amazon and saw this. Ordered it and it came in 2 days. My deck and outdoor kitchen is 600 sq ft and I finished sealing it with this product in less than 2 hours. Worked perfectly and clean up was a breeze. Well worth the money. No more garden sprayers for me.

First time use was with older paint. Admittedly they need to warn, the handle gets extremely hot. I strongly suggest wearing leather gloves

Bought this on the recommendation of a friend to spray hotel rooms etc. with disinfectant while on a road trip during these Covid times. Worked like a charm. The adjustable spray width and droplet dispersion were ideal. It's simple to put together and easily cleaned. If using it for this purpose be careful not to soak bedding etc. with the spray. The chemical I used ( Krud Kutter heavy duty cleaner and disinfectant also from Amazon) had a low odor residue. We just left the rooms with air flowing from the air conditioners and bathroom fans and in 15 to 20 minutes there was no odor.

Used this great little sprayer to stain and varnish both sides of 90 feet of new bamboo fencing. Easy set up, easy use and easy clean up. Spray adjustments for width and volume of flow are helpful. This is a great tool to make a big job quick and precise.

I read the instructions, read them again, and got to work painting my fence with a black solid stain. It was very easy to get the hang of, and I was done in one afternoon instead of 2-3 days with a brush. Cleanup was a breeze. I'd definitely recommend keeping a damp cloth handy to occasionally wipe off the sprayer nozzle, or else it will get a little clogged and want to spit instead of spray. Keep it clean and wiped!

Worked great Painted 64 ft x 6 ft high rough fence. Two coats of latex water based paint. two gallons. Easy clean up. Read directions for clean up. Best value for the money. No sure how it will work for smooth indoor walls. I think roller would coat better indoors. It's all plastic so don't force anything together for assembly. I would use it again.

A friend recommended this to me. I was able to re-stain my deck in about half the time that it would have taken me to handbrush it. I didn’t have prior experience with air spraying and do not regularly paint or stain. I found it very easy to use and learn. Overspray was not an issue either. I took a few precautions when I sprayed near my brick house such as holding a small piece of cardboard. If there was overspray, it is not noticeable because my brick is a combination of dark and light browns. My stain is a solid ebony.

Great to use for semi stain on Fence Panels and Lattices.

This is 10 times faster than hand painting.
