My Swiftiy violin student was so thrilled that I gave this book to her for her birthday. This book does not have the llink to the audio on line, so If you want that, get the volume 2, same music, but with the link. My student already had links on her phone to all of Taylor Swift's music, so this volumn was fine for her.

Daughter loves learning to play T Swift on her violin

I like this book, however Taylor Swift songs are very basic, to begin with, so when you hear them with a solo instrument, such as the violin, not all the songs are pleasant to listen to, depending on the key and the bridge for each song. Miss Swifts' songs have a lot of repetition and if it doesn't sound good at the beginning of the song it is going to sound the same in the middle and at the end. However, some of the songs are perfect. My 11-year-old daughter loves this book and enjoys playing it, to her all the songs sound exactly how they are meant to be heard by the original singer. It is a nice book to change things up from the regular teaching books for violin. She got this in her 3rd year playing the violin and was not discouraged at all by the level of the book and will play these songs for as long as she's a "Swifty" which will probably be forever!

The arrangements in this book are not melodic. They are also written in strange keys - the pieces do not sound like the originals! Easy to play but I recommend you choose a different option.
