Good quality
Excellent tool kit that works well. I use these on a daily basis, the quality is very good and the set is a comprehensive collection of most sizes of damaged threads you’ll find on automotive applications. I use these tools on a daily basis, don’t need imperial size drill bits has some have said, just use the equivalent or closest match metric drill. They fit all threads not just imperial threads! It’s the tool that removes the broken threads or seized bolts in the hole you’ve drilled, also you don’t need a left handed drill bit as I have seen in some reviews, made me laugh really. If you can’t remove the broken bolt or screw with this set you’re more than likely not using the tool correctly. All in all a good quality product at a reasonable price.

Excellent if used methodically (Removal of snapped locking wheel bolt)
Successfully removed two snapped locking wheel bolts from a Proace Verso (Peugeot/Citroen style locking bolts). Used the 3/8" with a hole drilled in each using a 10mm cobalt drill bit. The locking bolts had been over torqued and with the cold weather it looks like the tapered part had seized solid. Heated the head of the bolt with hot air gun at 500c for 5 mins each. Also used a torque wrench to remove so I could avoid snapping the extractor. The front wheel required 130nm of torque to remove (tightening spec for these is 100nm). I used a 16mm deep socket (not a 3/8" in square drive) as this gives a stronger interface around the extractor. If you are methodical and take your time and don't rush, these are extremely durable and will get you out of a fix. People who have left bad reviews seem to have issue with the smaller (weaker) extractors in the set - just needs some common sense and research to get excellent results. Saved me £80 in getting a specialist to do the job at least.

Might be best used with a socket
I would be inclined to use a socket over the hex rather than the half inch drive. Looks like they would be less likely to fracture.

Good quality
The quality is good. I had a hex bolt with rounded damage head, and I removed it for the first time using this kit.

Not heavy duty
Might as well be made of butter. Had to return after first use.

Handy extractor kit , good design, great support.
Bought this to remove a stuck and stripped oil sump plug with a 10mm Allen key head. The tool has a useful two-way design, allowing you to use it with either a ratchet or a socket. Under heavy load the ratchet attachment broke, but luckily the socket option got the job done. If you're dealing with a very stuck fastener, I'd skip the ratchet and go straight to the socket. When I flagged the breakage to the seller they promptly offered a replacement, which I appreciated. Does what it's supposed to. 4 stars for the tool, 5 stars for the customer service.

Does the job
Used for a sump plug on a seat Ibiza 2012, make sure to find the plug that just about fits in and then give it a few strong taps for it to bite, used with beaker bar and sump nut came right off, wish there was a punch hole to get the nut off the socket but overall happy with buil and done the job intended.

Product appears of quality, job was completed with the removal pins provided. Now if it was only MADE IN AMERICA...it would get a 5th STAR.

I bought this set to get a stripped Allen head plug out of a chain case of a snowmobile. The extractor appeared to seat in the stripped Allen head plug (3/16") but did not remove the stripped Allen head plug. It is unfortunate that this set did not include a corresponding reverse drill bit, perhaps that would have helped. Is there a customer service representative I can call for advice or assistance? UPDATE: (1/3/2024) I contacted TOPEC and explained my issue. The Customer Service Representive was very apoligetic and offered to send me 2 reverse drill bits to drill deeper into the Allen head set screw. While I have not recevied the reverse drill bits I am hopeful that his will removing the Allen head set screw. Thank you TOPEC for stepping up and helping me! Respectfully, Mark
